  1. Hello guys, so about 3 months ago, i spilled water over my laptop(while it being shut down and with the lid closed). I quickly cleaned all the water off it and turned it upside down for the water to dry off. An hour after though the laptop turned on due to an widows update but i turned it off asap. After that i have been away from home and didnt really use my laptop but when i came back and wanted to game on it I noticed the games i was playing were getting slower(OW, WOW, CSGO) and I am concerned that even tho the laptop seems to work fine there's some water damage on my main parts. The laptop is an ASUS ROG with a 1050 gpu and a i7-7700HQ 2.8 ghz, 8 gigs of ram and a 128gb ssd i installed. It really seems that the water somehow still got in and ruined my hardware, but there is still the chance that what i used to play just got more hardware pretentious. I performed a clean windows install and things got a bit better but not too much. I checked 3dmark scores for my notebook and mine are far under, normally scoring 7k+ and i get 1.3k ish. Maybe there is still something I can do to fix it, since i have no warranty left on it and i cba getting a private service to check it out.
