Budget (including currency): 600€ Country: Portugal Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Programming/Gaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Due to shortage of parts and other parts being expensive... My configuration so far: i5 10600K/KF or Ryzen 5 4650G about 200€ both chips ASUS Mobo 80€ 16GB Corsair Vengeance Ram 89-130€ 500GB NVME M.2 SSD 60€ Seasonic 650W GOLD Modular PSU 90€ Nox Hummer Zero 40€ I don't know what processor to buy? They both seem good options for the price and performance but not sure which one is best. For now I just want to program for my CS course and play some games like CS:GO, Valorant, League of Legends... Thanks in advance guys

What would be a better cooler in about the same price range? Ok.. I made up my mind then, I guess I'm going for the new system. Thank you guys

Where I live is quite difficult to find some good deals... The memory I'm looking at is GSkill Aegis 8GB 3000Mhz CL16, oh and an hyper212 cooler aswell... So if I get 2 sticks and OC could it be better vs 750Ti?

Hi everyone, I'm not sure if this is the right thread but here it goes... I'm a Computer Science student and I'm in a need of a Desktop computer. I'm trying to decide between an old system or build a brand new. The used computer has the following specs; i5 2500k, 16GB DDR3 Ram, GTX750 Ti, 500GB HDD and case (need to buy a powersupply) Total ~330euros (~400 after the powersupply) Or should I buy everything new, with potential for upgrades in the future? Something along the lines of; Ryzen 5 2400G, 8GB DDR4 Ram, 480GB SSD, B450 MB, CM Silencio case and Seasonic 520W 80+ Bronze Modular Powersupply Total ~480euros The computer is both for programming, gaming and maybe streaming games like AoE II HD, CSGO, League...
