  1. Hello I have this laptop: Acer Aspire VX15 / VX5-591G. The problem is fans are spinning 100% since the GPU "fried". The only solution I found to control the fans is RWeverything and replace value 189 in EC tab. It is set to "12" now. I did some research and found out that default is 52 (auto fan speeds based on temps). After changing the value laptop runs great. But there is no option to autorun this program and setting. I need to open program every startup with fans blasting max, then tediously tweak the setting. Is there any other way to permanently store the setting in ROM? or autorun RWeverything on startup + the settings, or any other way to disable / unsolder whatever the GPU out? How GPU fried: For the past months ntb had about 4 BSODs about GPU and sometimes LCD just went randomly off (mostly while playing video, thats when dedicated GPU starts) after a while I assume the GTX 1050 burnt. It's not showing up in BIOS or system anymore, it's not a problem ntb is old and since it's used just for work, it's okay to run only on integrated Intel 630. Thanks much!
  2. Hello everyone I have this TP-Link MR200 v4 router with 4G SIM card. It kinda works but when I start to download on steam or open 4K vid (basically full load) it just turns off the signal and I need to manually restart router. I contacted my provider Orange and received new router, same problem. Guy at Orange told me that when signal drops from 4G to 3G then router does not switch correctly between them or when there is just full signal loss, they just do not reconnect at all. I read all the possible articles about how a big piece of crap MR200, 400 or 600 is and how they solved those drops with new modem. D-Link DWR-921 - this one was suggested and it should work good, but I rather prefer ASUS brand and I want something better quality with better UI, smaller etc. (also I found that ASUS cheaper on amazon) anyway my question is: Will this ASUS work correctly and autoswitch between 3G and 4G and will reconnect when power loss? I do not want to buy both and test them so I am asking if anyone had their hands on the ASUS 4G-N12 B1. Thanks.
  3. My CPU is 11700F with locked internal GPU and no overclocking possibilities, so maybe my TUF was trying to overclock it? I've measured my temps with Core Temp and while my CPU was at 100% usage my temps were 68C after heavy mindless speed running through densiest part of city. With MCE off I am at 68C with usage of 60%. I can't really hear my cooler on CPU load 100% because it is almost always same quiet, I assume it is installed correctly as it maintained my CPU always under 70C even on 100% load. Do you guys think that my CPU is "F" caused the problem?
  4. Hello guys. BIG THANKS to everyone, especially Jonathan Lee! I turned off MCE in BIOS and voila, my CPU usage went to 60% while playing DL2. About those RAMs, you were all right! I bought today another 2x8GB of those Tridents 3200MHz, and suddenly my RAM usage on DL2 with opened Chrome, Twitch studio and Spotify went to 20GB (plus, they look gorgeous in full stack with those LEDs) Again big thanks everyone!
  5. Hello guys, I hope someone can help me. I am struggling with 2 problems, my DL2 is using my CPU constantly on 99-100% while GPU runs at 60-80% (I play on 1440p 144Hz monitor, all on max and DLSS on balanced, and I get only 70-100fps and stutters because of CPU) and second thing is that I dont know if I need to upgrade my RAM to 32GB. I plan to start streaming on Twitch and I see that in games like DL2 or God of War I get about 12-15GB ram usage while everything closed. Do I really need 32GB as "futureproofing" or is it waste of cash, or is maybe Win struggling and swapping/compriming stuff to get in that 16GB? I use right now 2x 8GB sticks of G.skill trident 3200MHz. Is it possible that my CPU sucks or my SSD (infamous 660p QLC), or my setup is badly balanced? (I made all the choices for components so maybe they are bad together) my setup is ASUS TUF B560M, 11700F + Cooler master Aio block, RTX3080, 16GB trident 3200Mhz and Intel 660p 2TB
  6. Oh great thanks, I will try with extra BT receiver.. but please assure me someone, is B460M really enough for 10700F? I read that MB is bottleneck here: https://www.reddit.com/r/intel/comments/klzxmj/i7_10700non_k_with_gigabyte_b460m_ds3h_is_ok/ 10700F should not be able to overclock itself or drain more power (that 65TDP is fake?) but am I missing its potential? I upgraded from 9700K and GTX1080 and kinda felt that my 9700K was more powerful, it was never in high percentage use, but now 10700F is most time 90-100% while playing games. I play on 144Hz 1440p monitor, use 750W Corsair RMi PSU and 16GB 3200MHz (probably underclocked because CPU supports only 2933)
  7. Country: Slovakia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA games Hello :) So I recently bought new budget PC with super cheap ASUS TUF B460M-WIFI board, 16gigs of 3200RAM, i7-10700F, 2TB Intel 660p, not so cheap lol EVGA RTX3080 and Coolermaster AIO block. Now I kinda think my build is badly chosen (should I got ryzen? :( I am not big AMD fan but I think I made a mistake) I tried to play Horizon and I got fps from 100-144 capped buuut, my audio with headphones was kinda lagging, every few minutes or when big things in game were happenig I got some 1 sec. stutters. Is this because of poor CPU or not compatible motherboard? I use Sony WH1000-XM3s connected to that MB bluetooth.
  8. Thank you Can someone please recommend me some quiet but not that big to cover my RAM sticks? Should I go for Corsair AIO block maybe? (I read only bad stuff, about noisy pumps and leaking ) If it helps for something rest of my setup is Gainward GTX 1080 GLH, G.SKILL Trident RAM 3200MHz, GIGABYTE Z390M, Corsair RM750i PSU and case Corsair Crystal Series 280X (15cm CPU fan max height). Thank you very much.
  9. Hello, I am looking for good cooler for my i7-9700K that won't block the view on my G.SKILL Trident RAM modules. My PC build is mATX. Will be Noctua NH-L9x65 enough for 95W CPU? Thank you very much!
