8.1 GB RAM out of 16GB showing as Hardware reserved
Jaasskk replied to Jaasskk's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Yeah i tried that... its actually running at the speeds of the faster module... do i need to manually change that ? i tried removing and reseating them and i did check they are in the correct slots -
So im running two different RAMs with different timings in my PC. one is 3000mhz and has timings 16-20-20-38 and other is 3200mhz and has timings 15-15-15-36. whenever i get out of the bios, i get 3 beeps twice and then a single beep and my pc boots up. in Task manager my Memory is showing 8.1GB as System reserved. what can i do to get rid of that ? do i necessarily have to get exactly similar RAM ?

I just set up an array with 2 128GB SSDs in RAID 0 and have a hard disk which I already have some data in. And I wanna add it back to my PC. What's the way to have it working without losing data ?(if there is any) when I was setting up arrays I saw a Normal mode along with RAID 0,1 etc. Will that erase the HDD ? -

Overclocking Ryzen 5 1600 with a 450 w psu
Jaasskk replied to Jaasskk's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
okk bois thanks then the issue is prolly with the cpu makes sense thanks a lot -
So i wanna overclock my Ryzen 5 1600, on an Asrock B450 Steel legend, its already on 4GHz. i have a thermaltake ux200 cooler running it on 72 degress average in AIDA 64 with all boxes except local memory ticked. I am using a 450 W Corsair VS450 psu, also running an overclocked GTX 1050ti with 6pin power. When i use Ultimate performance power plan the pc has a tendency to crash in cinebench, basically doesnt even restart just a black screen appears. and doesnt turrn off. Could this be the CPU instability or is it That the PSU isnt capable of handling this much power ? edit- Hardware monitor shows it sucking about 100-110 watts in Cinebench.(The processor)

Question about XMP on asrock B450 Steel legend
Jaasskk replied to KhorCS's topic in CPUs, Motherboards, and Memory
Try the new BIOS update, it says it increased the support for XMP -
It don't come with a backplate tho, so i can't get it, there are a lot of good options other than cooler master, but they don't cone with Backplates, like the Thermaltake and Antec ones
-
Ooooh okkk
-
Kayyy bro done thanks a lot
-
Yeah thats why i was thinking bout the 410R, it comes with a backplate, and its wayyy cheaper than the 212, which is about 40usd converted, compared to 24usd for the 410r. These fuckers raised the price for the 212 cuz its so popular
-
Okay the thing is i damaged one of the threadings on a backplate and now i have one of the corners ziptied to the mobo, so i wanted to get a cheap cooler, im getting already nice temps on the stock cooler tho
-
Circle CC821- The 5 fan version
-
Its hard to find in India man limited options here
-
Its a Ryzen 5 1600
-
Yeah i have A circle cabinet with 5 fans, 2 on the upper side and 2 on the front for intake, and 1 on the back for exhaust

I wanted to know if upgrading from the stock spire cooler to the Cooler master H410R would be good ? I mean the CM 212 is great for temperatures but i don't know bout the H410r. Would it reduce the temps by like 6-7°c ?
-
So the threading on my backplate is damaged and for that reason on of the screws wont go in, so i decided to keep my pc horizontal for like 9 months, and keep the cooler screwed in with just 2 opposite screws, will that suffice ? After that time im bout to get a new cooler anyways so the backplate wont be an issue then. I looked and the CPU temps and they are looking the same or maybe just 2-3 degress celcius higher. I think it wont be much of an issue unless i do real heavy workloads or serious gaming, which im not planning to do till that time either ? It will mostly be used for study stuff..
