Hi I have set the system voltage to .1.36 v, i saw that putting the voltage one tick lower would give 1.33v. Is that better or should i stick with the 1.36v one? The temperatures improved a lot. I have one quick question, Why does the cpu clock speed jump from 3.5 ghz to 3.7ghz? 2020-01-28 21-37-51_Trim (2).mp4

Hi Everything in the bios was left on auto, I'm more familiar with those newer bioses. I could'nt clearly find a setting to change the cpu voltage, i added some pictures of my bios,maybe that will help

Those temperatures on the last picture are from me turning on prime 95 for around a minute, but if you want to see the temps when i ran prime 95 for 5 minutes, then check out the first picture

Hi The bios is updated to the latest version,and its running stock voltages. The cooler is an old 120mm aio, there is no fan connected to that fan header show in the picture. The highest core voltage i saw, was 1.44v, but it was bouncing a lot between 1.34v and 1.38v I mesured the vrm temperature at idle with a flir camera, and the temperature was 70c

Hi I know that this mobo and cpu is ancient, but i have this issue where my cpu overheats very often. On speedfan, the cpu dosn't reach its shut down temperature but, but some sensors in particular sensor 3 shows very high temperatures. They change according to the cpu utilization. I wonder if that sensor is actually my cpu package temperature, and if speedfan reports the core temperature from the socket. My cpu is an Amd fx 8320 with a gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 1.2)
