  1. The reason I got two was for more storage that is why I was looking to raid 0
  2. What would your suggestion be for setting it up?
  3. I built a pc but am struggling with setting up raid 0. I have windows installed already and everything seems to be running fine. I am running the following hardware: Asus Maximus Hero 12 (z490 chipset) Intel 10900k Sabrent Rocket Q NVME PCIe m.2 2280 SSD 2tb (two of these) Gskill 32gb (2X 16gb) 3200 RTX 2080ti In BIOS I have disabled CSM and set sata to raid When I go to Intel(R)Rapid Storage Technology tab I can only select one drive and it does not have the option to set up raid. Any help would be greatly appreciated. TIA! GB
  4. Thank you for the input. I just don't like the blue air vents around the case on the H700 plus it is huge... I'll have to think about this one.
  5. Thank you, I am not worried about wifi as I have ethernet direct to the PC. I chose the Asus as everyone seems to agree that Asus is the golden standard for overclocking. Like I said though the only thing I am attached to is the case.
  6. I have not built a PC since 2007 and have been trying to catch back up with all of the changes. I am building the PC for mainly gaming, some very light work being done as well. My budget is $2,500.00. Here is a list of parts that I am thinking about. The only part that I will not change is the case as it goes with a theme of my home office. I keep going back and forth between getting the i7 8700k and either getting an NVME M.2 drive in place of the SSD or going from a 2080 to a 2080 ti. What is everyones thoughts? Thanks in advance for the guidance! https://pcpartpicker.com/user/GB189/saved/GJfq4D PCPartPicker part list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZV77NQ Price breakdown by merchant: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZV77NQ/by_merchant/ CPU: Intel - Core i9-9900K 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor ($529.89 @ B&H) CPU Cooler: Corsair - H100i PRO 75 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler ($109.89 @ OutletPC) Motherboard: Asus - ROG MAXIMUS XI HERO (WI-FI) ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($273.99 @ SuperBiiz) Memory: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory ($109.99 @ Newegg Business) Storage: Samsung - 860 Evo 2 TB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($327.99 @ B&H) Video Card: EVGA - GeForce RTX 2080 8 GB XC ULTRA GAMING Video Card ($779.99 @ B&H) Case: NZXT - H500 (Black/Blue) ATX Mid Tower Case ($69.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: Corsair - RMx (2018) 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($89.99 @ Amazon) Total: $2291.72 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-03-19 18:24 EDT-0400
  7. Thanks Crunken, I noticed that I linked my dream build and not the actual build (replaced the 9900k with the 8700k and the 2080 TI for the 2080)... As much as the original build would be awesome I couldn't justify $1,000 for the CPU and GPU upgrades.
  8. I built gaming rigs back in the early 2000's then for a reason that I cannot remember I stopped gaming on the PC. I am looking to get back into building my own rig and after research I think that I may have a build that will work. Is there anything that I am missing or suggested changes for the build?
