Hello,
I'm trying to help my boss fix his gaming PC. It's a prebuilt Asus g20 desktop, and he allowed his nephew to use the PC and ended up with a Bios password. (Gotta love kids huh)
I have used the CMOS jumper, shorted the battery pins, and the password prompt still appears. I have tried the date-based rescue password method, but pressing Alt + R at the password screen does nothing except enter a character into the password box ("r" i would assume). The MoBo is H170-P/G20CB/DP_MB, I don't know the Bios version since I can't load bios or boot windows.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
