So I read all the reviews of black light bleed,
ips glow.
For a $2,000 monitor I can deal with ips glow and some BLB is OK and certainly not detrimental to viewing experience.
What is though is dead pixels everywhere. Nothing kills an experience on a new $2,000 monitor by dead and stuck pixels.
In fact all 6 units I got had such bad BLB and dead pixels it was viewable in ALL content.
However with Amazons relaxed policy and me sending photos to OFM return folks, we got it worked out. They wanted me to spend additionally $1800 to get a new monitor from them as this is my only monitor then get a refund once they got my original one.
However during the interim of monitors, I got the pg27qz which was horrible dead pixels plus white bright spots on the monitor. Still unacceptable when it looks like someone pushed the monitor in.
Furthermore Asus email to me they don’t believe they make a bad product. Obviously I’ll be going elsewhere but was just frustrated and have always been an Asus fan.
Just unfortunate that Asus is unaware that they have imperfect QC issues when they’re on every website imaginable ?
