  1. I definitely gave it a 1/5 and was “most helpful” review. Then as soon as I wrote about my latest experience everything was deleted my previous post was over two months prior
  2. I've been an avid Amazon prime member for 7 years now. I have reviewed hundreds of products and been incredibly thorough. Two weeks ago, I posted (I've exchanged quite a lot of monitors in 6 months), and never complained in a review if the box was damaged, or the package arrived late. My review of the Acer X35 was the top rated review. I provided on all 8 of my orders/re-orders feedback regarding the monitor. When I received the last one and updated it which I indicated that there was hair behind the display, I woke up to an email banning me from posting reviews on amazon.com. I have since reached out to Amazon community services, called, and emailed with no luck as to why my reviews were removed, or this one in particular. I asked if Acer got involved with no response. I have also reached out to Acer with emails and phone calls prior for service (which I wrote about) not being the greatest, and they too would not respond. I don't think for a $2,499.99 monitor, that it should have dead pixels, horizontal banding, black light bleeding, or colors so inaccurate it makes you sick to look at. I just figured I'd share my response here as I'm unable to post about my experiences with monitors. But felt it odd that a day after I reviewed with another monitor with another issue, my account was locked and post removed from that one.
  3. I've returned close to 32 monitors since May. Yes, I have OCD. Aside from this I can't decide what I should do as I'm making myself decide this month cause it's gone on too long. My biggest discrepancy which maybe unrealistic is dead pixels. I use www.deadpixelbuddy.com on all monitors to check for dead pixels. Everyone with the exception of these two Alien ware AW3420DW's I've had have had them. Or worst horrendous BLB, not IPS glow. The issue I ran into with the $2499 Asus PG35VQ and the X35, is that the PG35, had HORRENDOUS color, green in highlight lacking magenta, which made everything appear sickly. I can correct, but not wanting too, but then both have had more dead pixels, and even one X35 having hair behind the screen. So my questions are: Is it possible that there is 100% perfect monitor without dead pixels? Is it possible that there is 100% perfect monitor without blb? Is it possible that there is a monitor with the combination of the aforementioned? My concern with keeping the alienware although realistically it has been the best in terms of color reproduction (Beating out the PG27UQ, X27 and CRG9) I got. However, the black performance is bad and I'm scared the ultra wide would be ruined by playing COD (which is broken now) and Red dead 2 (which is broken now). I don't know what the best route is, I love the black light performance of the expensive Asus/Acer, however tonality it's dreary. I could alternatively go back to the PG27UQ but would lose the real estate. Is alienware so bad? The HDR isn't as nice but I think the implementation of HDR isn't great. But so far its the only company that hasn't had dead pixels. Or should I try another PG27UQ and lose the real-estate or try a 9th Acer X35? Sorry for the odd question but I'm trying to rationalize what is the better option... anyone else with OCD would be welcome to chime in!
  4. Well I can’t determine what to get I like color accuracy but work primarily in word and reading for school. But the only thing that makes me hesitant is the FALD in x35 vs not in the Alienware I don’t know what would be the better “gaming monitor”
  5. I like immersion, I’ve had 3 x35’s with dead pixels so returned now I’m just using my lgk950f with scan lines until I decide. Whats the best route to go LG c9 55” x35 AW3420DW or xg43

    C9?

What does this mean with new Gsync update and pc gaming?
  7. Looks like every review sight has poor uniformsity without FALD enabled. So it’s nice I hve FALd
  8. This is when the monitor turns on but the glow shifts at angle
  9. 5% grey or 10% grey show no clouding the FALD test ratings also does not show clouding
  10. I don’t understand how to turn it off no settings
  11. I don’t know how to turn on fald or off so whatever is standard
  12. I mean every monitor even my lcd tv has this right now but it definitely does have blb
  13. New acer x27, but took photo. I can’t tell by which angle I’m from one sight seems brighter than the other which makes me think it’s IPS glow. Which I can live with as this monitor has zero dead or stuck pixels how does it look ? images are straight on and below straight on and hardcore to the left the last is meant for the strong angle... i think i got a goos monitor finally can’t tell
  14. If I got the c9 would it be a decent replacement of the x27 ?
  15. How common is it in current technology, is there ever monitors free of it? I think OLED would be the only one? I just debate because I have minimal on left corner but legitimately one of the ONLY monitors that does not possess dead pixels.
