  1. LMAO don't know what I was thinking since this is for the CPU not the GPU.... = brainfart...
  2. https://coolermaster.egnyte.com/dl/5JJ1dv2HBk/ For those who haven't figured this out yet. By the way there are 2 cables that come with the Prism, for full control you must use the USB cable in the 2nd slot, DO NOT use the RGB cable and USB cable, hope I helped I helped someone.
  3. I see that now, just thought since it was manufactured for ASUS that it might need something different in the driver for full efficiency.... But I see now that Nvidia's drivers are always the most upto date and the card itself is ASUS in name only...
  4. I just built a new PC. I installed all the drivers, but after thinking about it the GPU is an ASUS Rog Strix 2070, the driver for it I got from Nvidia website, however it looks like ASUS as its own driver, should I use the ASUS driver? 2nd. I used the MSI B450 OC feature in the bios to bring the Ryzen 7 2700x to full speed, now one of my fans , namely Fan #2 is running at +or- 3000 rpm even though fan is rated to 1500... Ideas and thoughts please
  5. Do I need to overclock my Ram? The BIOS has alot of options and I'm not sure what I should change if anything..
  6. Okay so PC is built and put together this is the initial benchmarks... UserBenchmarks: Game 113%, Desk 95%, Work 102% CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X - 101.1% GPU: Nvidia RTX 2070 - 134.2% SSD: CT1000MX500SSD4 1TB - 109.8% RAM: G.SKILL F4 DDR4 3000 C16 2x8GB - 78.9% MBD: MSI B450 Tomahawk
  7. Okay with all the reviews I got and suggestions, this is what I've come with... https://pcpartpicker.com/list/f4dWRJ
  8. in your opinion do i need to overclock for pubg, sniper elite etc and what is a DAC? Digital audio converter?
  9. Okay well hell shoot the moon, I reckon... I'm a prime member so most of it will he here within a week , the rest who knows... this is going to be interesting, should I be worried about the stock thermal paste, or onboard sound of that Mobo?
  10. Dang and it only went up like $80 hmmm well hell now I'll need is a sale on all items in 3 days lol
  11. So to keep everything in perspective I should goto the 2070? and the 2700 mobo? and still come in @ $1500 I don't see how that's possible without taking away from other components and getting lesser quality
  12. I have been reading about alot of the 2070 and 2080 having death issues shortly after being installed, so your saying I should go with the 2700?
  13. This is strictly gaming all music, video, etc will be on laptop. So I did plan on using an OC software to boost performance and at same time I'm okay with cooling the hell out of it so what CPU fan should I get, do I need extra case fans? Does the tower seem proportionate to the build?
  14. I am building a new rig strictly for gaming, I'll be ordering in 36 hours I've seen lots of deals and price cuts, but like everyone else just want the best bang for buck... any help is appreciated, rip my list apart & rebuild it, criticize, whatever, all input welcome no preference on parts or manufacturer. This is USD based, and I need everything. My last PC was stolen shortly after I built it, due to lack of home security, that problem is fixed. My max is $1500 with upgrades being important for longevity. Is the mouse good enough? Will there be a bottleneck issue? Are my parts junk? Can I get something better for the same amount?
