Okay thank you, I’m not worried that much on keeping a perfectly clean desk so I don’t think it would be worth it to spend that extra money for the dock.

So after watching their video on the cleanest setup, I was wondering if a thunderbolt 3 dock is necessary. I’m no tech genius but would it be possible to take a laptop such as the razor blade stealth they used and hook it up to a external graphics enclosure such as the razor core and then hook up your monitor(s) via hdmi and other peripherals by usb to the core? Also why did they use a dock in the video? Was it purely for stealthing the setup or am I not fully understanding the concept, thanks.
