  1. Ok I managed to free up some space and was wondering if you could elaborate on how this usb installer works because ive never done it before.
  2. yes, I managed to get it to boot with the original boot drive installed but once i remove it it doesn't work
  3. So I recently bought a 1tb nvme ssd and have tried 6 times to clone my 120gb nvme ssd to it but i can't seem to do it right. I used the crucial clone software that it came with and nothing. Right now I'm using macrium reflect and it worked but when I booted it gave me the error code 0xc000000e I only have about 0.5gb free on the 120gb boot drive so I can't create a windows install. Is there something I can do or do I need to buy a windows USB?
  4. I want to use a 2tb mvme ssd for games to download and load faster. The other 2 4tb ssd are for everything else more like "mass storage" will speed really matter if I put all my most played games on the 2tb nvme ssd?
  5. I want to use the 500gb as a boot drive and the 2td nvme ssd and the other 2 4tb ssd will be for mass storage. I want to use the nvme for games I play the most so they can load and download faster and the rest will go on the 4tb ssds.
  6. I have a Taichi x570 motherboard and a ryzen 7 3700x cpu.
  7. (Sorry for the long post) So I have 2 2tb hard drives and I've been wanting to upgrade for a while. I've also been meaning to upgrade my boot drive so it's not constantly full. I want to switch from HDDs so SSDs and was wondering if these were good or if there are better options that aren't too expensive my budget you'll probably be somewhere around $600 ish total. Below are the drives I want to switch to. The 500gb is going to be my new boot drive and the 2 4tb SSDs will be replacing my HDDs and the remaining 2tb nvme ssd will be a new addition. I am mainly doing this because I want games to download and load faster and because ive almost run out of space on my HDDs. I appreciate any help you can provide.
  8. I am planning on upgrading my boot drive to a 500gb nvme ssd from a 120gb nvme ssd. I was wondering if anyone could give me a step by step prosses on how to move windows and everything else over or if you could link me a good video. Thanks for the help.
  9. idk which one I should do so I did all of them Here is the Bufferbloat one: https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat?test-id=0984c956-4af6-441c-ac08-66e54360c891 Here is the Speedtest.net one: And here is the Fast.com one: These results test were performed at 7pm. Since it is night time these results are good but during peak hours it does go down. If you want those results as well let me know.
  10. Ok so I did have my units mixed up I have 500Mbps, sorry about that. Now that I understand that I still need to fix the issue where it suddenly drops to 0 and slowly climbs up. Thanks for correcting me.
  11. Steam doesn't even get close to 500. The most i have gotten is maybe 80 then it dips straight to single digits or 0, after a bit it does climb back up until it decides to dip again.
  12. I have rebooted multiple times even still if i am downloading a game from steam or something else it will reach maybe 60mbps then it will dip to single digits or 0 then go back up.
  13. There are some instances of it dropping or being slow for a bit. Downloading also takes some time although quicker than before it seems like it doesn't take full advantage of the 500Mbps.
  14. I have at&t fiber and I've seen a ton of videos where they get a different router and it makes their internet better. I want to know if this works and if it will work for me. I have 500 Mbps up and down. and have an Ethernet cable connected to my PC. If it does could anyone recommend any, I am very new to this and will have no idea what is considered good. My budget is around 50-100$ ish. I live in California my closest servers are in L.A.. Idk if this helps. Thanks
