  1. Thank you very much! I've had it since mid 2021, I might upgrade it late 2023 early 2024, I'm thinking of upgrading the cpu and motherboard, other than that I think the other stuff is still good. As far as 1440p monitors, do you have any recommendations ?
  2. Thank you very much, as far as asus monitor, do you have any recommendations ?
  3. Budget (including currency): under 300€ for monitor Country: France Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games, Movies, Coding and sometimes streaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello, I'm thinking about upgrading my setup,I would like to start with the monitor and storage, I have an ASUS VG248QG (165Hz, 1080p, 0.5ms), would want to have a 1440p monitor, but lots are good. Which would be a great pair with my setup? I would like to add more storage, which of these would be better for the value? Samsung 970 EVO Plus 1 To or Crucial P3 Plus 1To or should I just add an SSD/HDD? and as for the future upgrade, as I've mentioned, I would like to stream from time to time using this setup and game on it as well, as of today, it does really well but why not have a better one. I'm thinking of staying team red atm, but if team blue is better at it, I would love to know your suggestions and opinions! 4. 9Gb in total without the server, I would allocate atleast another 8Gb for the server, cause im a nerd. When loading the Modpack, It uses around 95% CPU and 5Gb RAM. Both MC and Server uses 5Gb each, with the others I'm at 15.3Gb, just tested rn. This is while I'm just starting them both up. I still haven't played a lot with the modpack, no explosions or any big machineries, nor automation.
  5. Okay I will do that! Thank you so much! Well as I've seen, It mostly uses CPU when starting, mostly uses all my CPU but that's another issue. Then It'll use the allocated RAM for it, for now I've put mine at 8Gb, and everything is working fine, atm when I'm looking at TaskM, I have 78%, 9Gb from MC and Firefox. So upgrading from 16 to 32 would be a quite nice for me. Again Thank you guys!
  6. I see, but wouldn't it be better to upgrade from 16gb 3200 to 32Gb 3600? since I'll be running a bunch of programs, like Android Studio and photoshop. Also for the Modded Server and Modded MC, which has more than 200/300+ mods.
  7. Yeah my bad, I know nothing about the xmp, I've just looked and it is indeed disabled, I've put it to profile 1, and it's showing 3200Mhz. Would it matter if I upgraded it, no? Since I'll be using it to play games and run a server. My bad, I didn't know about the xmp profile. It is 3200Mhz
  8. I currently am running an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and a Radeon 6700XT with 1080p 165hz, I mostly play my games at lowest quality (cause why not) but I've tried Ultra and It's pretty good, fps wise it depends on which games, I found this on youtube. They tested on 1080p and 1440p for Ryzen 5600
  9. Budget (including currency): 200€ Country: France Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Games Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I bought this prebuilt mostly for studies (CS) and to play games, currently I've been wanting to create a minecraft server that can handle 200+ mods, at the same time play on this pc. At the moment I want to upgrade the RAM, I'm undecided between which two of these is better. And any recommendation for future upgrades is appreciated! (I basically want to replace 1 by 1 till I build a new pc) Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32Gb (2 x 16Gb) DDR4 3600MHz C18 or G.Skill Trident Z Neo 32Gb (2 x 16Gb) DDR4 4000MHZ ~ PC ~ Motherboard : B550 GAMING X V2 CPU : AMD RYZEN 5 5600X RAM : 2x8Gb G.SKILL Trident Z RGB 2133 MHZ (edited : 3200Mhz) SSD : Crucial P2 1TB PCIe M.2 2280SS SSD GPU : AMD Radeon™ RX 6700 XT PSU : M.RED ATX 750W - 80+BRONZE Cooling : Watercooling M.RED AIO 240mm RGB Rainbow + 4 Fans (front & back)
  10. Really sorry for the late reply, I unfortunately already bought a new laptop, an Asus Rog Strix G15 G513 For 1400€, tho I think I'll sell it when the 2022 version are available
  11. Hello, I would like to seek for your opinion if this Zephyrus G15 GA503QM is worth its price or I could find a better laptop for the same price (1500€) ? Thank you in advance!
  12. Mostly gaming, such as overwatch, red dead redemption 2, 3A games and coding( python c++ javascript etc) My budget is around 1400€ - 1800€
  13. Hello, I'm planning to buy a laptop, but I came across this website, where you can build your own, is this site legit or buying a prebuilt one would be better than customized one?
  14. https://www.amazon.fr/HP-15-en1003sf-Portable-GeForce-Windows/dp/B08VS1XQ8N/ref=sr_1_7?__mk_fr_FR=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=34Z5SMW9XG2UO&keywords=gaming%2Blaptop&qid=1643454214&sprefix=gaming%2Blaptop%2Caps%2C119&sr=8-7&th=1 I found this one, just need another 8gb of ram then I think it would be perfect, what do you think? Edit: Also Found an Acer Nitro 5 https://www.amazon.fr/Acer-AN515-45-R9F1-Ordinateur-Portable-GeForce/dp/B08WDCZ2P4/ref=sr_1_13?__mk_fr_FR=ÅMÅŽÕÑ&crid=3BDBJD4VF4MV5&keywords=laptop%2Bgamer&qid=1643456338&sprefix=laptop%2Bgamer%2Caps%2C89&sr=8-13&th=1
  15. Idk, people recommend getting an RTX for the same price
  16. if you see one in amazon.fr that would be great! Thank you so much for the help! x)
  17. I mean I could go further than 1800€, it's just I already have a computer so I don't need the best laptop there is, just need one that'll last long, will allow me to play modern games such Resident Evil Village, school work and coding stuff.
  18. Hello, I would like to know your opinion on this laptop? I'm looking for a gaming laptop that would last me years, I came upon this deal which I think is cheap considering everything on it, but I'm solely interested on the laptop. Here's the link for the deal. ASUS STRIX G15-G512LV-AZ301T | Price: 1140€ Processor: Intel Core i7-10870H (2.2Ghz - 5.0Ghz) GPU: Nvidia RTX 2060 RAM: DDR4 16Go What are the pros and cons of this laptop? Thank you in advance!
  19. Ah yes, I just figured that out a while ago, honestly I don't really mind the raytracing, I did say I wanted a RTX but an equivalent is also good, I want the cpu more than the gpu in this case
  20. I kind of want to go with the 3rd one, the Shogun, just not sure if it'd be good for gaming and programming, I've never used AMD, reviews in YouTube says it's good for work stuff but intel's better in gaming. GPU doesn't really matter to me, as long as it's RTX For the psu, I think so, I saw some reviews on the brand, they seem pretty nice, but yes I'll do more research about it.
  21. Budget (including currency): 2000€ Country: France Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA Games, Modded Minecraft (Over 200mods), Programming/Coding (Python, Java, Etc) Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hello, I'm a computer science student, needing a good pc for playing video games and coding, at first I wanted to build my own pc, but then due to gpu prices, I don't think I can build one with a RTX so I decided to look for prebuilts.I started with laptops but then found these ones with the same price. Which of these prebuilts do you think is the best at its price? Looking forward for your opinions! Thank you! 22. Sounds interesting, I'll do more research on it, thank you!
  23. Laptop: I don't really mind the loud noice of most laptops, but considering everything you said, I think it would be better to just get a desktop Prebuilts: what do you think is the best choice between these prebuilts that I've chosen? then I'll do some more research, and maybe wait for black friday here xD
