  1. Hey, sorry if this is posted in the wrong area. Just needed some help. I have a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Ultra with a 9700k overclocked to 5.2 at 1.35v in bios. I'm currently running only the 8 pin (4+4) connector and wasn't sure if i should be using the optional 4 (2+2) connector as well. It has been running fine for about 6 months with just the 8 and overclocked to 5 and the last couple at 5.2 but not sure if I'm reaching the limit or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers
  2. Hey. I am currently running a 4790k and 16gb ram just for reference, My 980ti died and i am without a GPU at the moment. I have a bit of money coming in a couple of weeks so am buying a new one. Now i was thinking of just grabbing a 2070 but have heard the rtx cards are a bit eh. Then i saw people were saying grab a 1080ti over a 2070 while they're cheap. However being in Australia the cheapest USED 1080ti i can find is like $900 minimum. I can get a RTX 2070 for $800 new obviously. Anyway ramble aside, i have a couple of concerns. 1. I plan on buying a new 1440p 144hz monitor will the 2070 be enough too keep up? 2. Will i be CPU bottlenecked. CPU is stock speed. Never been able to get it stable above 4.5 so just left it haha. 3. Should i pay the extra $100 and get the 1080ti and would that keep up with 1440p (I know the extra vram will help but how much?) Thanks in advance
