  1. Ok so, i RMA-ed the card, they had to send back to the manufacturer somewhere in Europe. Waited the legal 15 days, and in the end they said that the card is broken ( I asked what the issues was, got no answer ) so they replaced it with a new one that came in today. I ran FurMark for about 12 hours, 156 FPS, 220W, 1758Mhz, 99% Usage at 1080p, no crashes or anything, i know its not alot of time for stress testing, but since the last time i tried it with the old GPU it crashed at 28 minutes, im guessing so far so good. I also went back and Overclocked my CPU to 4.0Ghz all cores trough Ryzen Master at 1.28152 and tried some gaming. In the past i used to have issues running COD Warzone, kept getting a DirectX 6068 Error (I belive the error was 6068) random troughout the gameplay session, sometimes it would let me play 2-3 games, other times it crashed right after jumping from the plane. Well, this time it worked flawlessly and it kept a steady 2047Mhz - 2056Mhz at 72 Celcius with the GAMING GPU Preset. ( I did notice after the first game, i started getting mini stutters once every 5-10 seconds where my .1% would probably drop in the low 10 FPS ( didnt have MSI Afterburner Overlay on to see exactly, but thats how it felt) even so, i took it as a win since i was able to play with no crashes. Tried RDR2 as well, took the graphics bar ingame all the way to the right on ultra, and it kept a nice 67-75 FPS on 1080p, before at the same settings i'd hit the mid 60's but the average was somewhere in the low 50's, so, it's an improvement. Biggest disappointment came when i tried streaming, since before everytime i tried using the Hardware Codec, it would be awfull, i presumed since everything is working better now, streaming should have improved as well. I mean, i could stream 60FPS from a 1060 6GB at 2200Mhz with no problem, but for some reason, this $400 card, does not want to stream at all. Quality was awfull in Warzone, what i mean by that is i was watching my stream on my phone, and while in lobby, everythin was great, the moment i hit actual ingame, it was like pictures with a bit of video. The thing i dont get is, even if i switch to x264 Codec on CPU, the stream still kind of sucks while running games such as Warzone or RDR2, while i see people with worst rigs than mine stream with no problem. For now, im kind of happy that it work, but im also disappointed that i dont know what was wrong with the previous GPU so i can watch out for the behaviour on this one, since my previous one worked decent for up to 2 weeks, and then it started this whole fiasco. Anyway, i'll keep this post opened in case people with simillar issues pop up, maybe i can lend a help since i went trough alot of troubleshooting, and i'll also pop by with an update in a few days, for anyone that's interested. Also, i'd like to thank you all for the replies and i'd like to apologize if i my gramar is bad, since english is not my first language. (It izz what it izzz) Cheers guys.
  2. I did, multiple times. Did like at least 4 clean installs, disabled the Windows AutoDriver Installation, did pretty much everything i could find on the internet. It's just gonna be a pain to go through the repairs and sending it back etc. But i guess that's pretty much all there's left. Thank you for the time and answers.
  3. So you think it's the card? I tought it may be the PSU being a 520W or the drivers being unstable.
  4. Greetings, after a few weeks of research, youtube comparison videos i finally got myself to switch from nVidia ( GTX 1060 6GB OCed to 2200Mhz ) to a Sapphire RX 5700 XT Nitro+ My rig is as follows MB: AsRock AB350 Pro4 PSU: Seasonic M12II-520 EVO Edition Bronze 520W CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 ( Cooler Wraith Prism with Arctic MX4 Thermal Compound ) GPU: Sapphire RX 5700 XT Nitro+ RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8GB (Using XMP @ 3000Mhz ) HDD: Toshiba 500Gb SSD: M2 WD Greed 120GB Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5 ARGB ( 3 Intake Fans + 1 Exhaust ) Dual monitor setup I used to keep my CPU OC-ed @ 4.1Ghz and left the GPU on default settings from the AMD Driver. After a few weeks, i bought Read Dead Redemption 2, and while playing, i would sometimes get a crash, after waiting 1 - 2 minutes, the screen would look like a TV without reception ( Noise ) and it would stay that way untill i manually restarted the PC, then it would be ok for a while. I tought it may have been because of the game, so i finished the game like that. Then, when i was playing COD Warzone, i started getting random Error 6068 DirectX crashes, like i could play a game, and then get the crash, or play 20 games and then crash ( I didnt use to get this error before i got it the first time in RDR2) So, obviously i was upset, since i invested somewhere around $420 in this piece of hardware. I searched for my specific problem for a couple of weeks now, and i had it narrowed down to either the PSU not having enough juice to sustain the whole system, or either the AMD Driver just being bad. I left the CPU on stock settings, removed the OC, removed the XMP profile from the RAM and Undervolted my GPU all to stress the PSU as less as possible and i highly doubt it was using close to 500W. Things seemed fine, then i started getting random crashes in any game, League of Legends, Valorant etc, where it would sometimes say the AMD Driver managed to recover. I checked Event Manager, and it showed that the driver was crashing multiple times but recovered so it didnt crash my games the majority of times. I uninstaled the Optional Driver (Using DDU) i had installed, and went for the Verified one. Worked ok for a day, then the crashes started again. I uninstalled the drivers again and went for the Optional one. Same thing. Now, my Motherboard has 2 PCIE Slots, and my GPU was in the Bottom Slot (Slot2) so i decided last night to move it in the top slot (Slot1). I used Unigen to benchmark the stability, everything seemed ok, but i used it before and it was the same thing. Long story short, do you guys think that the PCIE Slots deliver different energy outputs and maybe the card didnt have enough juice to work with in the former slot? (I tried looking it up, but couldnt find any specific information about it) or are the AMD Drivers just shit? Also, everytime i get an error, i check Event Manager and one of them says " livekernelreports watchdog/watchdog " and another one "Live Kernel Event 141" i kept googling for some answers, but didnt find anything precise. Is there any workaround, or should i just sell the GPU and go for a 2060 Super even tough i'd be losing performance? Sorry for the long post, i wanted to be as thorough as possible to get some good feedback from someone that either went through the same problem, or has some knowledge about what's going on here. I really appreciate anyone who took time to read and try to give me some input =]
  5. Hey guys. I'm trying to get ready for Metro Exodus to be able to play it on High with a smooth framerate, but not only that, i just generally want to learn to Overclock. I've had a few builds in the past, the one i currently have is a trade-off for my previous laptop to the Desktop i went for. My current Rig is as follow GPU: Asus Dual OC GTX 1060 6GB CPU: AMD Ryzen 2400G with AMD Wraith Prism Cooler RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 3000Mhz DDR4 Motherboard: ASRock AB350 PRO4 PSU: Seasonic MI2 Evo Edition 520W SSD: 120GB M2 WD Green HDD: Toshiba 500Gb Case: Cooler Master MasterBox Lite 5RGB with 3 Intakes + 1 Exhaust Basically, i would like to get the GPU to 2000Mhz as i've seen in a lot of YouTube videos that its possible. The PC is 1 year-ish old. The CPU Idles at 32 to 37 degrees Celcius. The GPU Idles at about 38 with the Fan On, and 54 with the 0DB Fan mode from Asus OC Tweak. How would i go about this, what program should i use for the Overclock. Has anyone Overclocked this exact GPU that i have and whats the safe settings you guys used. I dont know if i should Overclock the CPU as well, and if so, how should i do that. All in all, i'll be watching your responses as i really want to OC the GPU Wish you all a great day
  6. I was thinking of maybe getting an old version of OBS, since maybe that may be the problem? Maybe its something about the latest updates that is screwing with my Computer, idk. If that dosnt work, ill just use GeForce Epxperience
  7. I got a 1Gb connection, internet's not a problem. I just streamed using Geforce Experience, and it worked flawlessly. So im thinking its something with OBS maybe?
  8. I have been streaming both 720p and 1080p. Been getting more or less the same result as in my gaming impact.
  9. Hey guys. I've been streamin for a long time, so i know my way around OBS Streamlabs or OBS regular, since thats what i use. Now, 4 or 5 days ago i was trying to stream Metro Last Light, which for today's standards is not a demanding game. I was using a Lenovo Legion with a Core i5 7300HQ @ 3.1Ghz / 16GB DDR4 2400Mhz Dual Channel / nVidia GTX 1050Ti 4GB / an M2.SSD Pcie x4 240Gb and 1TB Drive. Also using a cooling pad for extra cooling. Now, i had a good frames in Metro, somewhere around 70ish on the very high settings, i have a 1GB Internet Connection and when tested on Speedtest with the server Amsterdam or Frankfurt i get 46 Ping / 436Mbps Down / 512Mbps Up. I'll post Screenshots of the settings i'm using. And i've always used these settings since my rigs were always about the same power. Anyway, the game would run at 60+ fps, but when i would check the stream, it was runing in 7 - 21 FPS. i tried switching the adapter from NVEC to Software, didnt make any difference. So, i traded 2 days ago my Laptop for a Desktop Machine with a Asus Dual 1060 GTX 6Gb / Ryzen 5 2400G / 16GB Corsair Vengance @3000 Mhz / WD Green M2 SSD 120Gb / 500Gb Toshiba HDD and a AS Rock AB350 PRO Motherboard. After the trade a did a fresh install of windows, everything looked fine, so i tried streaming again, since i thought it was something wrong with the Laptop i had. I started this new game that came out Apex Legends. Same settings as before, same problem. Good In-Game FPS 45 - 64 on the High Settings 1080p and 7 - 21 Fps On Stream. *Note: I used to stream Assassins Creed Origins from a PC Before i had the laptop, with exactly the same config as the one i have now, just an i5-4670k instead of the Ryzen , and the RAM @2600Mhz. and had no problems at all, or other games such as League of Legends, Ring of Elysium even PUBG. So, i tried searching the web, but alot of the posts are old, and outdated. I know its a long post, i hope i did well in explaining the situation and didnt leave out any information that someone that can help might need. Thanks for reading all of this mess.
  10. Well, when i was using it with my laptop, the integrated graphics made it look ok. I was trying to see if there's anything like that since the integrated graphics was Intel and now im running a Ryzen 5 2400g with a 1060 6gb.
  11. Hey guys, first time here after following Linus for a while. I have a bit of a problem so i figuered i'd give it a shot here if you mates dont mind. So, what happend is i sold my Pc sometime ago, monitor and everything. Now i traded my gaming laptop for a desktop and using my TV as a monitor. The problem is my Tv's native resolution is 1336x768 and im using 1080p resolution. But when it upscales to 1080p ( i presume its called upscaling ). Everything looks weird like, the colours are darker, the text is kind of weird to read, its not as smooth as on the native resolution. I can't afford a Monitor at the moment, but when i was using the TV hooked to my laptop, if i would set the resolution from the Intel Integrated Graphics card it would look normal. Now it dosent. I guess what im trying to ask is, if theres any software i could use to fix this issue. Thanks for your time =)
