Hello, im currently using an I7-4770k The chip is not OCed but the turbo is turned on The base clock is 3.5GHz but i get up to 3.8GHz on idle during turbo However the clock speed drops to as low as 3.0GHz while im ingame and causes major fps drops, Is there anyway to fix this issue? with bios or w.e? Ive attacted 2 screen shots.

How old is the fan, if you constantly hear it while its on, it could be the fan bearings are failing

I have no problem with fluctuating fps, the problem is whenever it drops, the game freezes for a split second and that cant constantly happen in a game like league.

I'd say to check the Bios version that you have and search online to see what's the latest, I had to go through this process when I upgraded from a i5-4570 to an i7-4770k using an OEM motherboard, compare versions and if yours is not compatible you got to update it

Good day, my pc specs are Intel i7-4770k at 3.6GHz Raedon RX 550 2gb 16gb ddr3 1600MHz Ram My problem is that league of legends barely uses resources, at high settings I get low cpu usage and gpu usage and my fps is at 200, however it constantly dips to 90, my cpu and gpu temps are as low as 60'c for both, I dont know how to fix this..

Good day, im using an asus g703gx with an i7-8750H and rtx 2080, when I launch valorant and practicing in the range with lowest settings, I get an average from 90-120fps which is also very unstable, my cpu usage is on 100% and gpu is on 20%, my cpu is running at 3.9GHz so I am very confused, ive re-installed windows and drivers many times and cannot fix the problem, I would like any ideas on why this is happening and how to fix it, my game used to run very well on 300fps but now it just wont run as well.

I just called my isp. i explained that im lagging in every game where i shouldve have a stable 90ms. they made me ping their local server and said my internet is fine. its the games server fault. EVERY GAME SERVER? they said nothing they can do to fix it!!!! I have no choice but to use this isp because they have the monopoly and mobile data is just as bad here. for having to pay so much money for internet cant it atleast be stable?

Yes ping is considered according to distance. but why is every other isp able to have a stable 80-90ms when playing from my country to the server. but my isp "Collumbus Communications" is unable to supply a stable 100ms for the speeds i pay. the ping is always fluctuating up and down! i have no choice unless im willing to play with 200ms stable on the other isps available in my area.

Hello. Im a growing competitive gamer but im being held back by my internet fluctuations in ping. its happening more often than usual these days. I mainly just play league of legends and my average ping there has been 92 - 100ms. but these days ive had it just rising up and down between 100 - 150 and its very unplayble, i even upgraded my package to where i now pay 65$ US per month for 250mb download and 15mb up. My isp is Collumbus Communications aka Flow. I reside in a small island named Trinidad and Tobago. I am wired and im not sure how to go about fixing this, when i call my isp they just do a speed test and say "aye! youre fine" i dont know how to explain to them or if this is something i can fix myself. please help, i have no way of getting another provide unless i want 2mbs download over hotspot. My connection is currently cable and my router is stock company given and the admin page is so confusing and uncommon to google. I am wired through lan because is way more horrible on wifi. I have a friend who lives a mile away from me and has the same problem. please help! Thank You!

Solved. It was some hardware compatibility with windows 10. i installed windows 8.1 and it worked fine!

is hardware damage possible in this situation?

just installed that exact driver and i had no luck. i even used ddu before i installed it and chose the factory reset option in the installer

just did that and no luck its so weird and hurts my brain !!

Hi. i didnt know where to post this so ill just put it here. i recently took a job of fixing my cousins laptop that fell and the hdd was damaged. i replaced the hdd and re installed windows no problem. the computer is running fine and all drivers updated except for the video driver. the laptop is as smooth as it could be but whenever i install the video driver the laptop begins to freeze every 2 seconds. whenever i move the cursor across the screen it freezing as though the pc is lagging but usage and temps are fine. whenever i uninstall the driver and go back to microsoft stock windows 10 driver it works normal. please help me with this, ive been at it for days, ive also tried different versions of the driver but no luck. HP laptop (not sure what model) AMD A6-5200 APU Radeon 8400 R3 series Windows 10 64 bit

im running 1909. i also tried installing it after uninstalling the old driver and still no luck.

How do i know what version of windows im running and how to upgrade it?
