Thanks for all your input!
Thanks for the clarification on OCing, I'll have to upgrade the mobo to a Z390 later down the road if I need it.
I don't have much of a choice for this build, because I am dead set on a compact Mini-ITX build (Thermaltake Core V1 ), which limits the motherboard options and the cpu cooler size. Looks like I could fit up to a dual fan 140mm AIO. What might you recommend? Would this be decent? (CoolerMaster Dual 120mm ) or is that Enermax ELC-LMR240-BS better?
I went with the 9900k over the 9700k because of hyperthreading. I need as much performance as possible out of the CPU for heavier-loaded video editing. The more cores/threads, the better. The only other CPU I would want to put in would be the 8086k if I wanted/needed to go a bit cheaper.
And I picked the 2070 over the 2060 because,
A) It's likely not going in the build right away, so I have time to save up some extra money, and
B) It has more vRAM than the 2060 for rendering frames faster, and the Ray-Tracing for better rendering out the 3D effects.
So, unless the ray tracing is a joke for video editing, in which case I'd go with a
