That's what I was thinking too. I'll be buying the important parts first. But the problem is I don't know what cpu to buy , motherboard to buy etc.

Hi guys , I have an important question. Do you think I should build a new computer or upgrade this pc (pictures below) ? My friend told me to upgrade the motherboard , cpu , ram , hard drive (SSD) and a case. My power supply is a Thermaltake 500W and my budget is around 350-400.
