  1. Hi, Looking at putting a PC for plex server together and would like to know what sort of hard drives I should get for the content, it will be on 24x7? Standard 7200rpm NAS Surveillance Thanks
  2. As other have said, Google only contacts by email (as far as I am aware) unless it to login to a Google account where they send a number to enter on their website. That link is using the Google URL shortener that anyone can use.
  3. Hi, I have got a Fractal Design Define R5 case and have fitted an AIO water cooler at the top and removed 2 of the panels for it. However I have a gap at the side as the case was made for either 120mm or 140mm wide fans, my AIO in 120mm wide. So now I have a 20mm wide by 240mm long gap. So I would like to close off the 20mm wide x 240mm long gap in the case, to stop dust getting in etc... I don't knmow what to use, as I am not sure what is available, which is why I posted on the forum. I do still have the orignal panels but don't really want to cut them unless I need to. Are there any other options? like 3rd party pre-made panels? Regards, Gaz
  4. Something to keep the i7 7700k (no overclocking) CPU cool and quiet. I already own both coolers, so just looking for a of doing it, without creating any issues. I currently have my i7 7700k in a Factual Design R5 case with the NH-D15 on it. In the Node 804 I have an i5 7500 with a NH-L9i on it. My R5 has the main PC in it and I need to save some space on the desk, What I want to do is move my i7, GPU (Nvidai 1070) and PSU into my Node 804 case.
  5. Hi, Will a Noctua NH-L9i (Low profile) cool an Intel Core i7 7700k not overclocked? The reason I ask is I am thinking about putting my PC into a Fraturl Design Node 804 case and don;t believe my current Noctua fan will fit. The Fraturl Design Node 804 max fan height is 160 mm and I don't think my Noctua NH-D15 will fit, as the specs form the NH-D15 height with fans is 165 mm Thanks
  6. Did I miss a part of the WAN show, I did jump a few bits or did they not talk about PIA or VPN?
  7. Yes the PCs are close together maybe a few foot between each other.
  8. I have a lot of backup files I need to off load from my main PC, to 2nd local PC and also (multiple 10GB+ growing by a few GB a day) that I get daily on my main PC. When tansfering the files it slows the internet down on the main PC
  9. Hi, Thanks for the reply. So for me to get faster local transfer rate I would need to get 10GbE NIC Cars and a new router/switch with 10GbE ports then? Regards, Gaz
  10. Hi, If I was to fit a 2nd 1GbE NIC Card into 2 PC and connect them via my router could I get around 2Gb local transfer rate? My router only has a 1GbE Ports. Regards, Gaz
  11. Hi, Is it ok to mix ram of differnet speeds and make and what happens does one slow down? I currently have: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) @ 3000 Mhz. I had to RMA my old ram which I got the replacement back now which is: HyperX Fury 16GB (2x8GB) @ 2400 Mhz. Regards, Gaz
  12. Hi, I need to an extra 3 Sata 3 ports, as I have used the 6 ports on the motherboard. I presume I need to add a PCIe addon card, I have the following PCIe slots available 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x16 (x4 mode) 1 x PCIe 3.0/2.0 x1 The hard drives will the 7200rpm, if it matters What PCIe card do you recommend? Regards, Gaz
  13. Thank you for all the replies :) Just checked and done that to full speed. It meant to be a silent fan (1000rpm) let see.
