  1. I've recently come around to the importance of aesthetics in my system and am thinking about upgrading to a more unique system case. One that caught my eye was the aforementioned Cougar BLAZER. What I'm curious about is if anyone has some advice for building in this case, or perhaps some suggestions on other cases that are similarly different to the what has become the standard. I am also considering replacing my cooler with a better looking AIO... still not entirely sold on this idea yet though. My main concern is that I want to be able to fit into a slightly thinner case (my curent on is huge) and from what I've seen, all the best air coolers are fairly massive. I don't have anything against air cooling, just concerned it wont fit well in a more display type piece. I have an OK budget, around 400 to make this rig look as good as I can. Also I know how bad my GPU bottle neck is lol... planning an upgrade for that as well (maybe the 3070... have to check on performance and price). Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. My current System: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X Noctua NH-U12S ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) ATX G.SKILL Trident Z Neo 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3600mhZ F4-3600C18D-16GTZN EVGA GeForce RTX 2060 SC GAMING, 6gb Coolmax 900w WD_Black SN750 1TB NVMe SSD HDD 6 TB SATA3 COOLERMASTER HAF-XB Windows 10 My monitor: LG 27GL83A-B 27 Inch
  2. First a couple of notes: I have an ok system as is but think my hardware is beginning to show signs of aging. Aside from some slight system instability (aka random hitches in the otherwise smoothly running system, as well as random slow boot times for no discernable reason) the build I currently have suits my needs. As always faster would be nice, but overall my use for gaming and some blue ray backups/compression and general home pc use, my current hardware is adequate. Since I haven't found any software issues however, the buggy system is making me want an upgrade. I dont really want to start over since most of my secondarry components(GPU, psu, m.2) are newer(within the last year or so) but wouldn't mind the upgrade to a better platform. So below are my current specs, my ballpark budget, and what I am considering. Any suggestions are welcome as well as ideas on what is causing my current issues. 3. Was aware of that risk.... do you have a place/site you reference for used hardware?
  4. I was looking at that and wondered how much of a performance boost would that likely give?
  5. Oh thats US Dollars and I am open to any upgrades just thought gpu might be the weak link.
  6. I am looking to upgrade my system and would appriciate some constructive advice on where to start. Durring bench marks it seems that I am getting gpu bottle-necked. I mostly play games like Ark: Survival evolved and some platform types. Would like to keep my system relevant and capable of playing newer titles on med/high settings. I have a pretty tight budget and would have to save for anything over $300.
