I'm currently playing red dead redemption 2 medium presets but would like high presets 100hz min if possible. My budget is around 200$ but more if worth it. What should I aim for ? I wouldn't mind, but getting another will not be for today. I will look for a good value laptop deal when she will really need it.

That's my feeling using it too. I'm really leaning towards giving it away and make her save for a decent one...

Hi everyone. My girlfriend has this 3 years old laptop that she never did use so in brand new condition. It's an Acer Aspire E 15 (E5-532, with Intel Celeron N3050(2/2@1.6GHz), 4GB DDR3L@1600MHz ram and 500GB HDD). She never used it in the first place because it was so slow and just told me about it. I looked into replacing the hdd for a ssd and eventually upgrade to 8GB of ram but i dont know if the processor is just plain garbage and not worth investing into ? So my question should I upgrade it for like 100$ or just cut the losses, resell it for whatever amount and get a better value one ? It's only for web browsing and quick office work btw.
