    I think I've put them in right. Does the triangle on the wire mean it's the positive?

    I just got a ASrock Z77 extreme 4 for an upgrade for my motherboard (current cpu is i7 3770k) and the board won't boot up. When I plug in my Ethernet I can see the yellow lights and some other lights on the motherboard but nothing starts up?

    Alright thanks. I would have gone with the UD3H it's just that I am on a tight budget and the extreme 4 looks like a good deal with the features I want.

    Two years ago I had very small idea about computer parts. I got a PC off ebay with a 3770k with a crappy motherboard that I can't OC with. Two years later I am thinking about upgrading my motherboard to a Z77 ASrock Extreme 4 (its on amazon for £78, $129, €94). I wanted to know if it is worth the upgrade so I can OC, SLI, SATA3 6.0 Gb/s for my SSD and other stuff or should I wait till haswell - e? but I think the 3770k can last me 2-3 more years in the gaming world. My current motherboard is a ASUS P8H61-MX

    The thing about the five games is that if I don't want some of them I could sell them on.

    Well the GTX 760 is £30 more and plus I don't get 5 free games with the card but does come with black flag, is it worth it to get the 760 over the r9 270x?

    So I have ordered a R9 270x (I get 5 free games with it). So I can play some upcoming games I want for around 8 months then later I am going to upgrade again to a 870 or 880 if its out by then and sell the r9 270x

    What I am going to is get a R9 270x for now then save up and sell the card once the 800 series come out. Thanks for the help.

    GTX 770 not worth it?

    I am really in a confused mind. Right now I play one on a single 1080p monitor with a GTX 550ti 1GB. The card is really struggling to run games now and it is time for me to upgrade. The GTX 770 2GB fits my budget and I am hoping it can last me 2-3 years with medium - high settings (I don't play with AA). Then on the other hand maxwell (GTX 800 series) that could be coming out soon and looks quite promising but I really want to play games like thief, titanfall and watch dogs that are soon to come out and my GTX 550 ti won't be able to run those games how I want them to. So what should I do wait for the 800 series? (Won't they cost a lot at the start?, Any idea when 800 series will be out?) or should I get the GTX 770 2gb now and hope it does me well for 2-3 years with decent settings on 1080p. Please help If I am to get the GTX 770 2gb its the MSI GAMING EDITION with assassins creed black flag for £240(290 euros, $398.90)
