  1. Thank you for the tips. There are 2 RAM sticks, but also 2 RAM slots. Next week I have holidays so I will definitely try those things you have listed.
  2. If I turn the power on, should the fan of the PSU be spinning? If thats the case that might be a solution
  3. Yeah well, I know the CPU and the PSU but the other parts are unclear
  4. The LED is on but the computer doesn't work; fan isn't spinning and it doesn't show a display.
  5. Hi! In my room stands a nice looking pc. One problem. It's old, like 8 years or even more. Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore. Now I tried to fix it, rewiring everything and cleaning a bit up (dust). But still, it doesn't work, I think one or more components are defect and I am trying to figure which, but I just can't. So, is there anyway I can know which component it defect and doesn't work anymore, so maybe I can replace it?
  6. If u have a laptop and you don't have enough storage on it to download another game: Is it possible to connect a portable SSD to the laptop and download the game on that portable SSD, and play?
  7. Hi! I am almost 14 years old (29th) and I have a question that I think computer experienced people are better able to answer it. Sad story: I never had a real pc and I want to build a computer this/next year, and I am really excited about it. I have made a list of products I want and it is a budget build, currently at <€1000. Products listed right here under "Budget pc v2.3": https://tweakers.net/gallery/1168102/wenslijst/ Currently I have €480 and with my birthday this week I might be able to get to the €560. It will still take at least 1 full year of saving money to get to the €1000. Fortunately the prizes will go down in the course of time. But the "course of time" is also a problem: If I have enough money in 1.5 years, I think the products (cpu, gpu, ram) will be outdated and it probably can not keep up with the latest computer technology. But if I wait a little longer then 2 years I might be able to build myself a nice 2020+ ready pc. Should I wait 2 years lonely and without a pc till I have enough money, should I wait for me to win the lottery, or wait 1.5 years or less and then build a pc that will be really outdated by then? Really hope you could help me out with this.
