I have windows 10 and a brand new computer for a month now. Since last week, Chrome stopped opening when clicked on the taskbar and the desktop shortcut. Neither works but when right clicking on the taskbar I can see the most recent tabs I had and when it use that, Chrome opens right up. And now today a game has been having the same issue that neither the desktop shortcut, the taskbar icon, nor the exe file in the file folder open it up. The game ran no issues since I can remember but since today I have the issue. I have tried running them both as administrator but no to avail. The only way I have gotten it to run again is running it in compatibility mode to Windows 8. Both programs show up in task manager under background processes but never fully open. Has anyone experienced this or found a solution?

Thanks a ton for that. I mostly use my of for gaming so the small touches help. And the GPU doesn't have a price for some reason but I found it elsewhere. But thank you for the updated list.
