  1. So as the title states I recently built a PC that has been crashing a lot in games. I don't think the GPU is the problem as it has been tested on another system and the same issue persist with another GPU in its place and the thermals and wattage are ok in both cases. The system in general is as follows: MOBO: Asus Rog Strix Z490-A Gaming CPU: i7 10700K RAM: G.Skill Trident Z Royal 32GB DDR4-3600MHz GPU: 3070 RTX FE (the alternative is 1070 RTX FTW Evga) PSU: Corsair RM750W CPU Cooler: NZXT Kraken Z63 Thank you all in advance!
  2. First of all I wish everyone a happy and healthy new year! Now to the matter at hand: I have the need for a laptop which I will also use for gaming. I am mostly playing FPS games like CoD,Apex,PUBG,CSGO & Destiny 2. I am between these 2 choices as I very much like their design: Dell Alienware m15 (i7-9750H/16GB/512GB/GeForce RTX 2070/FHD 144Hz/W10) & Asus Rog Zephyrus M15 GU502LW-BI7N6 (i7-10750H/16GB/1TB/GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q/FHD 240Hz/W10) Both laptops in Greece are sold for ~1700€. Now the key differences which make me favour the Asus is the 240Hz display and the better CPU, but it features a lesser GPU. Also if you have anything else to propose which combines both without being bulky go ahead!
  3. So it seems that getting the Founder’s is the way to go, however I should just get the highest clocked card out of the box, right?
  4. Hi folks, I am putting together my build for the new year and I can’t decide on which 2080 Ti to choose. The build will consist of a 9900K and an Asus Maximus XI Formula, and everything will be custom water cooled. So I would like to ask about which one should I choose as money isn’t a problem. I am planning on overclocking as much as possible as an enthusiast not something extreme. Thank you all in advance!
  5. Well which CPU or series would you propose?
  6. So I have been making some plans with a friend on upgrading his desktop. He already has decided on graphics as he has 2xRTX 2080 Ti, and the only thing that remains is choosing a CPU. At first we thought of getting a 9900K but I noticed that it only has 16 PCIE lanes available. He claims that it won’t be necessary to go for another CPU but I believe he should go for sth better as he already has the best GPUs he could already. Should we opt for another CPU that covers 32+ lanes or it won’t make such a difference in terms of performance?
  7. About 21 degrees but there is a heat source nearby, and it’s cold outside. Also didn’t know that low humidity could cause a spark, and if so should I be worried?
  8. Well there are filters where the fans are situated and the environment is kinda normal no humidity whatsoever.
  9. Hi guys, as the title states, I saw a spark out of the blue while casually gaming on my PC which I own for the past 1,5 years. The spark kinda appeared from the front panel of the PC where the radiator and fans are located. Nothing stopped responding, everything was fine after some restarts and seperately checking the hardware with another psu, no smell of burned plastic or anything. The radiator has some dust between the fins but not so much in case that could be the reason. Anyway I am kinda worried cause I am not sure about where it actually came from. Any ideas?
