  1. hello did u manage to find a fix for the 9700k 100 usage ?

  2. I reverted to default/auto clock speeds. Here's me running Hitman 2 at max settings, 1080p no motion blur, no Vsync, 144hz monitor.
  3. RAM is stock at 2666 MHz, BIOS is up to date, I had the power setting on max Performance before and after overclock. I have the stock cooler for the Trident X 9th: https://us.msi.com/Desktop/Trident-X-9th/Overview
  4. So I just recently got an MSI Trident X 9th with an i7 9700k and an RTX 2080 with 16 gb of ram and playing at 1920x1080. Ever since I started playing games on it I've noticed that the CPU is always at 100% and the GPU generally under 30%, more often than not under 10%, no matter the game (GTA 5, Overwatch, COD:BO4, AC:Origins) My FPS in these games are generally pretty high even at max settings, but I have noticed stuttering sometimes. In addition, the FPS I get in games, is high, but is nowhere near what many benchmarks say a PC similar to mine should be. For example, this site: https://www.gpucheck.com/gpu/nvidia-geforce-rtx-2080/ using a i7-8700K @ 3.70GHz got 176 fps in BO4, whereas I get 100ish and stutters when entering a firefight; 121 in Hitman 2 whereas I get around 80; AC:Origins 104, I get 80ish; GTA 5 132.6, I get 80-90, Overwatch, 215.6, I get 190. Recently, when I watch Youtube on my second monitor and play games at the same time, the frame rate drops by almost half. This is most apparent in Hitman 2 where my FPS in less crowded areas can be around 80, but drops below 60 in crowded areas and when watching youtube, went down to 20 in non-crowded areas. I have overclocked my cpu to 4.9 GHz with 1.25 V to try and get more FPS, and temps haven been under, but close to 70 C. I am not very experienced at overclocking, but these problems existed before I touched the BIOS so I don't think I messed anything up. One thing I did do is reinstall a fresh copy of Windows 10 to get rid of all the preinstalled stuff. I did go and update the drivers and stuff so they should be up to date. I also messed with the Registry a bit to get rid of all the "documents, downloads, favorites, etc." shortcuts in file explorer because I dont use them and I hate it being there taking up space. I feel like there is definitely something wrong with my PC, but IDK what it could be.
