Budget (including currency): £800 Country: England Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: games wise I tend to play a lot of BeamNG.Drive (almost 700 hours on steam ha), I also play Forza horizon 5, Call of duty cold war, Subnautica, citys skylines and VR games on my Oculus Rift S Work wise I do Photo editing on Lightroom / Photoshop Other details Existing Rig is a Core i7 6700K 16GB DDR4 Ram and a RTX 2070. storage I have two 1TB NVME drives a Samsung 970 EVO and a SK Hynix one, cooler wise I have a 360mm corsair all in one, also have a 10Gig Intel NIC to connect to my NAS I have a 1440P monitor @ 165hz Need help on what CPU I should get next I quite like the look of the 12th Gen Intel but not sure what the best one for me is any help would be great cheers I think my GPU is fine still currently I feel it is being held back by my older CPU

Hi All i am currently running a Core i7 6700k @4.5Ghz in my system. i was wondering it it is worth me upgrading to AMD Ryzen 7 3700x or wait till Zen 3 (4000 series) I like to game and do photo editing using Lightroom i have an RTX 2070 graphics card which i believe is bottle-necked by my CPU I play a Sim game called BeamNG.drive which if i load up 7 cars i can MAX my CPU 100% and graphics card is only at like 50% or so
  3. Took out the motherboard looks to be two what look like wet patches under where the vrms are. Is this a leaking capacitor?
  4. I don't know anyone with a z170 motherboard. My old pc is a z77 my girlfriends is a z77 my friends is much newer than mine

  6. I've just tried my system with an old known working power supply and exactly the same thing happens
  7. Update I have tried a different PSU but still absolutely nothing happens when I press the power button does this mean my motherboard is dead?
  8. Sorry Found them but no lights. I press power button and nothing happens.

  10. Guys please help, my previous working gaming PC that I was using earlier is now no longer powering on. The led next to the 24pin on the motherboard is still lit up and I can see the ethernet leds blinking away. I've tried re seating the cables 24 pin and 8 pin The power switch is still connected to the board Not sure what else to check
  11. I will be hanging it in my bedroom it doesn't have any direct sunlight on it.there is a window in the room but its not opposite. the light in the room is a LED one the picture frame has Glass.

  14. I've been running a HP Mircoserver G7 for years now 24/7. i have Plex running on it, even used ot run a minecraft server on it. CPU is only 15w tdp can take up to 4 2TB drives Was great value when i got it only £129 after rebate
