  1. Thanks for your responses, I will see about 6 in CMD pro and my PUMP on the cpu fan connector
  2. Hi all, just asking for advice on this, i have 6 Corsair fans 2 built in to my AIO, my MB is B550-F Gaming WiFi II. I recently bought a corsair commander pro to control my fans in software and i was wondering if i can control all 6 fans with it and leave the CPU fan header unplugged and still be able to boot my pc and if thats a viable option or should i have the 2 fans on the AIO plugged into the MB and control those in BIOS and 4 in cosair?
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong but pushing a RTX 3090 to output 4k 144hz with only a 700w PSU and it reaching 95C could be the issue. Can't think of a reason why a monitor itself would cause crashing or blue screens. Nvidia recommends at least a 850w PSU for the 3090.
  4. Make sure either the cable you are using or the hdmi/DP port on your laptop supports HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2 or higher
  5. There is a benchmark tool out for endwalker, i can only presume they used that to get these results.
  6. I like this list, I will most likely pick a 3600 as it would most likely be enough. and might change the ram to corsair vengeance LPX ram as i just prefer that. other than that thank you very much for the list. The case was where i was stuck most on.
  7. Hi, thanks for the response, the parts I have in my part picker are parts I already own. I've recently upgraded to a 3080 with a newer psu so these are left over parts I'm throwing into a new pc for my Niece. Apologies if I didn't make it more apparent.
  8. Hey all, Basically making a new pc for my niece, she's very young only 7 but she's very big into making YouTube and editing YouTube videos. I build my own pc quite often and I do have some spares already which may be overkill I think? but it saves money on this build. Would you guys be able to finish my list below with what you guys think would be best for her? As below I don't really have any budget constraints but its hardly going to be over powered. Just stuff that works with the components I have already and compliment them. I'll be monitoring here to answer any questions you guys have but appreciate the help as always. Budget (including currency): No real budget concerns in GBP Country: United Kingdom Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Mainly Youtube/light editing/streaming and Roblox of course. Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I've included below my part list of spares that I currently have to put in the new pc. If at all possible try keep this somewhat smaller in size but not mini itx preferably as it will be pushed into a corner somewhere I imagine. https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/starmax123/saved/rQrcqs P.S. I don't really care for any AMD vs intel stuff so whichever you guys think is best I'm good with.
  9. Hi all, wondering if this is an issue people have and can help solve? currently i am trying to stream 4k HDR movies from my PC to my tv, i use plex on my pc and on the plex app on tv but it buffers constantly, i've found this is due to only having fast ethernet on the tv and isn't enough to stream this. Does anyone have any recommendations on how to do this as i tend to have a lot of movies stored on my internal HDD on my pc? Not sure if you need the specs of my pc but it does have a gigabit ethernet port and im using a cat 6 cable to my router. My tv is the LG OLED55CX6LA. Would something like a nvidia shield tv pro help with this? i do have a gtx 1080 if that matters. I can answer any questions that may help, i'd really like to stream without using a usb stick or losing any quality. Thanks all.
  10. Bump if anyone has anything they can help with.

  12. essentially yeah, just unsure about the +5v, i woulda thought it would show 5 volts but its at 1. Not sure if thats an issue?
  13. Hi all, i've recently installed a new PSU into my pc and i was wondering what ways there are to test if its all working, I've attached a screenshot of my voltages, for info my psu is the RMX850w corsair, cpu ryzen 3700x GTX1080 gpu and a msi mpg gaming edge wifi x570 board. If you need more info for whatever reason just ask, but wondering if there was ways to stress my system to check for stability and if the voltages look ok? no issues so far on boot and i ran the stress part on cpu-z and it was just fine.
  14. So I tried what i suggested 1.3v at 3600 mhz, no dice. However 3200 mhz 1.3v and the latency suggested above it has booted so far... Not sure if that 400 mhz is gunna hit me that hard but its easily better than 2133 for now. Thanks for that suggestion.
  15. Hi Chris, thats a good idea, not 100% confident in what im changing around as i looked up originally how to do it manually and changed all the relevant parts of the bios to match the below specs my ram should be running at. I assume what i should do is make it same latency 3200 mhz but try 1.3v not 1.35? or is it worth try 3600 mhz at 1.3v? Tested Latency 18-19-19-39 Tested Voltage 1.35V Tested Speed 3600MHz
  16. Preaching to the choir on that, ever since i've had this board its been nothing but an absolute pain.
  17. Hi all, in the past few months i've been having issues with my xmp profiles. (I've had the pc over a year now so out of warranty, go figure) basically when I try enable XMP profile 1 or 2 my pc will power cycle twice on reboot and just not enable the profile at all. I tried manually inputting the memory overclock, this worked for a couple weeks before i blue screened and it power cycled twice and booted into memory overclock failed message. I have tried resetting bios multiple times, removed the cmos battery and wait then put it back in, reseated ram in different slots (only 2+3+4 slots available due to cooler taking slot 1) and nothing is working anymore. My specs are MSI x570 mpg gaming edge wifi with a ryzen 3700x and 2x 8GB corsair vengeance RGB 3600 mhz. As an FYI i have a dummy RGB stick in slot 3 and before someone asks, yes im sure its the dummy stick in 3 and the real sticks in 2 and 4. At this point i'm about to give up and deal with the fact that my ryzen cpu is running on 2133 mhz ram which is awful. Any suggestions or help would be awesome. Also if you have any questions i'll do my best to answer.
  18. I'm running dual monitors hence both HDMI and DP configs with both monitors both wouldn't work. As an FYI all of a sudden i was able to get into my bios? i think my issue is a bipolar bios or something...
  19. Hi all, I'm not sure whats happened but i noticed my XMP profile had turned off and tried going into my bios to turn it back on and all i get is a black screen when spamming DEL this appears to have happened randomly as i haven't updated my bios in the time between me being able to access my bios and now. My MB is a msi x570 mpg gaming edge wifi, steps I've taken so far are trying different ports in my gpu like hdmi only and dp only on all the 3 ports. Taking out cmos battery waiting 5 minutes and trying again. BIOS is on the latest 1.90 version but still black screen. Hoping you guys are able to help? i can answer any questions you ask. Thanks a bunch. Full pc specs below just in case it helps. MSI x570 mpg gaming edge wifi Ryzen 3700x 2x8GB corsair vengeance RGB 3600mhz MSI gtx 1080 gaming x
  20. Oh well, got my hopes up. I spent enough on this board i thought, most likely it would support it haha.
  21. I got it from MSI Dragon Centre not the drivers page. I wonder why they would offer it to me if it doesn't have it...
  22. Hi all, I've had this motherboard for a while now (https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MPG-X570-GAMING-EDGE-WIFI) and I've seen when downloading drivers for it that it supports fast charging through the ports on the back, i assume the type c port? well the thing is i can't get my phone to fast charge through it (galaxy s10) I looked up that maybe its the cable that doesn't support fast charging and the cable i have is (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Inateck-delivery-charging-aluminum-sheathed/dp/B073RY5JZ3/ref=nav_ya_signin?dchild=1&keywords=type+c+to+type+c+cable+inateck&qid=1596215157&s=electronics&sr=1-9&) which supposedly supports up to 100w. Anyone know what I may be missing? could it be one of the type A ports that aren't labelled that could be the charging port specifically? thanks for your help. FYI i have installed the usb super charger driver and it is on.
  23. Do you happen to know the make and model of your motherboard? does it have 2 or 4 ram slots? could be a dual channel issue where you have placed in slots 1+2 rather than 1+3 or 2+4.
  24. Cheers for all your input, thats the basic premise of this post for me, as a what should i look for, is HDR worth it, I'm not too up to date on when new displays are released/scheduled to release so anything is helpful.
