  1. refresh rate monitor rate is 60hz uncapped. Comparation between GIGABYTE RTX 2070 and Asus ROG STRIX 1070 GTX at 1080p. SOOTR - 66 FPS RTX VS. 63 FPS 1070GTX Far Cry 5 - 85 fps vs 80 fps Dirt Rally - 120 fps vs 114 fps Furmark - 156 fps vs 100 fps Unigine Heaven - 111 fps vs 94 fps I,M 100% that the video settings was the same. So do you think that is botleneck and it is not the case to refund my GPU?
  2. Hy, I had no other problem so I decide to upgrade my system. I started with GPU, so I buyed a new GIGABYTE RTX 2070, to replace my Asus ROG STRIX 1070 GTX. The rest: Intel i5 4460, 8 gb Ram 1600mhz, 750W Corsair PSU, win7 64, all for 1080p gaming. but after install the 2070 rtx, I had an unexpected surprise. The new RTX 2070 is performing aprox at the same level to my old 1070gtx, in games all games I tested - SOTTOR, FAR CRY 5, DIRT RALLY, HITMAN, COMPANY OF HEROUS 2. I used the latest NVidia drivers -417.22 and 417.35 - with the same results. I notice the my gpu had very low usage combine with high CPU usage. Ex. in SOTTOR, I have 30-60 % usage, and 90-100% cpu usage. Then I tested Furmark and Unigine Heaven when I have constant high gpu usage 95-97 %, and significant more performance compare to the old gpu. Now is my new RTX 2070 bottlenecked by the cpu or my new GPU may have some issue? I will buy a new CPU, MB and RAM anyway, but I don,t know what to do with my GPU. Refund the GPU, or patient wait for new component wich will not arrive in the refund limit time. So pls some help.
