Hi,
I have a computer that I have been using for...6-7 years or so and this summer I will replace it with a brand new one.
But the thing is, I am pretty sure PSU of it is failing these days. Not in bangs, just whimpers though.
So I had an idea, what if, I bought the PSU of my future computer now and used on my old computer. Seeing that PSU are one of few things I can be confident in not changing that much until summer or even a few years, I think it would work.
However, I have no idea if this new PSU will work with my old computer. I don't want to destroy my computer as I still have months until summer.
Hope you guys can help me if you don't mind as I have no idea.
