  1. Before purchasing anything. Have you checked to see if your TV has a feature for variable volume output. If you set your dac to a fixed volume and use that setting on your TV you should be able to adjust volume on your TV regularly and it will adjust the signal output to control your speaker volume.
  2. Thanks. I intended to do that, but I must have accidentally gotten the wrong one since I was using my phone.
  3. Honestly that answers my questions as best as possible. I just needed to know if it was possible to do, but it seems that it really isn't.
  4. There lies the root of the problem. It's difficult to take control of a system someone else owns in a way that can't be undone without your permission.
  5. I wanted to do it remotely, but if you have an idea of how to do it physically I'm all ears.

  7. So, the reason I wanted to do this is because I'm looking into selling gpus using a subscription based payment plan service, but I'm not sure how to enforce a consequence if payments aren't being made.
  8. The intent is for the rest of the machine is to be entirely useable just without access to the GPU.
  9. Is there a way to lock a dedicated gpu so that it would require a password or code in order for it to output an image?
  10. Okay. Thanks, so it almost sounds like maybe just as many rads as my case will accommodate then?
  11. I don't think so. I have a rosewill Thor v2. It has plenty of space.
  12. I have a pair of Galax 980 to hof that I want to water cool. They have a total tdp of 500 watts. Can anyone tell me how to figure out what radiators will handle that load?
  13. I actually already have a 200mm rosewill fan on the side and the top with a 180mm in the front and a 140mm in the rear. So airflow wise I'm covered, but I appreciate the suggestion.
  14. my top one can get to 80 during really intense loads, that's with the fans running at 100% and the case fans on high
  15. you may be right. I should probably just wait until I have enough for the loop.
