  1. I FINALLY GOT IT TO WORK!! This was sooo frustrating, but I finally got it working! So I'm not sure if this is what did it for me but these are the steps I took: I updated to the latest BIOS, in one iteration while updating the BIOS I was able to choose to update the back up BIOS as well. That version was F62: I checked that the "capsule BIOS support" thing may have made it unable for me to downgrade my BIOS, it also gave me an option to update my back up BIOS as well so I did. After updating to the latest BIOS I went back in to disable CSM. Then after all that was done I tried my luck (Only OS Drive and the Crucial drive were installed at this point) and it worked! I don't know what the exact fix was but I'm just glad I got it working.
  2. I don't know how gigabyte Bios works but, if I disable CSM the option to choose boot option to UEFI/legacy and all those settings under CSM is gone. Does disabling CSM automatically change it to UEFI? Or do I leave CSM enabled then just choose the booting option to UEFI?
  3. My sister got one crucial p3 as well. Along with a new motherbaord, ram and cpu for an upgrade. Haven't had the time to set things up for her but I'd like to see if it works with her new components. (I have been testing that second crucial drive as well, same issues). If it works in her setup then she can take both the drives, if it doesn't work then I'll just ask my brother in law to return both of them. Kind of afraid that it will work on her set up, if it does that'll mean there's something wrong with my system right?
  4. Yes unfortunately... Without the Crucial drive? Yes, it runs perfectly fine without it. Should I return the settings back though? I was hoping that wasn't the case... My brother in law got it from Taiwan, he will be heading back next month but probably won't come back in a while. Might just ask him to return it.
  5. Sadly that did not fix the issue... Vga light is on and I'm frozen on this screen again.
  6. Oh wait, disabling CSM removes the options to change storage boot option. I'll quickly test this out and see if I can install that crucial drive.
  7. I'm guessing all I need to do now is change csm to disabled? All my drives are GPT.
  8. I can't seem to get that crucial drive working. But there is something my Motherboard manual mentions, I've got a snippet below: Does it saying: "the M2B socket only supports PCIe SSDs" have anything to do with what might be causing the issues I'm facing?
  9. Yes, if the new crucial drive isn't installed everything runs as normal. No, since everything works fine without it. No, I think as long as that crucial drive is installed I won't be able to get into bios. I have not tried this yet, will test this out during the weekend.
  10. Ok so I tried doing this but still same issue. I get to the screen where I can press del and all, but nothing happens when I press del or any other key prompt shown. I've also tried swapping my os drive into the bottom nvme slot and having the crucial drive in the top one. Nothing. But I did notice that the VGA light on my motherboard was lit up. Is this normal?
  11. I will try this another day, I'm hoping it's not as @Sawa Takahashi has mentioned.
  12. That doesn't sound too good. My sibling helped me buy it while he was in Taiwan so I hope that's not the case.
  13. Ok, I have tried it while my 2 other ssds are disconnected, nothing. Placed my gpu in the second pcie slot, nothing. I'm not sure what to do now.
  14. Pressing delete or any other button does nothing. I have not tried that yet. But I will first try disconnecting my 2 other ssds. I'll try moving my gpu to another pcie slot after that if it doesn't work.
  15. I have my 970 evo as priority. I can't really remove the crucial drive since I can't get into BIOS after booting up my pc with the crucial drive installed. But once I remove the crucial drive and boot up my PC everything works.
  16. Hi guys, So I recently got a new 2tb crucial P3 nvme drive to use as a mass storage for my games. However, after installing it and booting up my PC it just stays at the screen where it tells you "press del to enter BIOS... etc". It looks like it's trying to boot into that new crucial drive. (I have no idea) I have an existing nvme drive where my OS is installed (Samsung 970 EVO plus 250gb) Another 2 Sata ssds. (I have checked and confirmed that after installing the second nvme that there are should be no issues with where my 2 ssds are connected) Current spec: R5 2600 Gigabyte RTX 2060 Gigabyte B450 Aorus pro Wifi (BIOS ver. F30) Any ideas?? I just wanted to expand my storage, didn't think there would be an issue like this. Thanks in advance.
  17. Yeah, I'm just gonna get a UPS instead. But I will see if I can turn it on after I shut it down later.
  18. Well I actually connected a power board to the surge protector, and plugged my pc into the power board. But can there actually be some fault to the surge protector I was using?
  19. @Streetguru @WWicket Ok I have no idea what fixed the problem but I tried a bunch of things and now I can use my PC. I don't even know if I just needed to wait like previous times. But the noticeable change is that I used a different power board to connect my system to. I have no idea what the real issue is with my PC but I am hoping that this doesn't continue. And my cpu clock and memory has been reset to default. Should I overclock them both again or should I try everything on stock settings throughout the week?
  20. I've tried that too but still wouldn't start up. Had to wait before it could turn on again. I also have issues with putting the PC to sleep. Same thing happens, it won't turn on again unless I wait it out.
  21. Hmm, I hope someone here has some idea why this happens. Yeah, I thought a surge protector would suffice but I may as well get a UPS to be safer.
  22. Ok, I'll need to check this then. Also is it normal for a system to be unable to turn on immediately after it shut down? Because my build has been like that since the start. I could only turn it on after 1-2 hours.
  23. I will try this psu jump start test tomorrow. If the PSU fan spins then it's fine right? Man I hope nothing went wrong with my PC..
