    I bought a new laptop but swapped out the harddrive from the original to my old one to keep my OS and all my files. I did this even before the first boot/setp with the original harddrive. I had to change some BIOS setting to allow the old harddrive to boot but it works. What I want to know is two things: Can the original HDD now be installed anywhere with windows 10 without the BIOS that's in the new laptop? Will my old drive be overwritten and treated as a new drive?
