  1. I did unmark this and as I've said leaving it in the wall was not the problem. In fact, my MacBook is plugged in all day during which the aluminium never even gets warm unless I'm running a resource-intensive process. I just wanna figure out why Microsoft edge kept waking on my MacBook to update in the night. I use it only for Microsoft's tts services.
  2. I have the habit of leaving my MacBook on sleep instead of shutting down because of the arm chip inside. Never had any sort of problems. Sometimes I would even sleep with heavy workloads and my MacBook would wake up completely cool. At first, I thought it was probably the fact that I had forgotten to plug it out the charger like I used to but I was a bit skeptical since charging my MacBook never led to it being hot. After a few minutes of searching, I found out how to show the logs of what had caused the MacBook to wake up from the past day. 5 minutes of quick scrolling shows that Microsoft Edge (EdgeUpdater) keeps waking my MacBook throughout the night for no reason. The only thing I had opened was a local word converted html file which I had deleted but I didn't refresh Microsoft Edge (Maybe that's why it kept opening it up throughout the night?). I am at a loss. Personally, I have no problem with Safari. I always use the default browser on an operating system unless it has some glaring issues. The only reason I have Edge installed is because of its amazing Text to Speech capabilities. It's unlike anything I've seen even when compared to paid services. any help would be appreciated, Rahmat ;) Edge updater keeps waking on MacOS.txt
