  1. Hey guys and girls, I have a simple and/or difficult situation. My mom has a company and she uses Daylite (a self-serve CRM for mas os), unfortunately her macs are getting old and Daylite has changed all their subscriptions politics. So basically she pretty much has to buy all new macs machines for her and her employees plus Daylite licenses for everyone which is pretty expensive for what it is and don't get me started about the new macs. So I was wondering if there was a software replacement for Daylite on linux which would do the exact same thing as Daylite (bonus point for an open source one). We've been looking for a Linux CRM and testing some, but we didn't found a good replacement. So, if you know something or even someone who might knows something, she's welling to pay someone to do the transition from mac to Linux. Because yes, she also needs to transfer her databse from mac (Daylite) to the new Linux one. All informations/tips are more than welcome and appreciate. Thank you for your help! ? Neurok
  2. Hi, I'm kind a new to linux. I just build my first pc, so far so good, but I don't know how to install linux Mint so that the OS is on the SSD and all the heavier stuff (music, games, documents, etc.) is on the HDD. So if you have any tips I'm all hears, because I don't exactly know what to do. Thanks!
  3. This is what I get for dmesg | grep rtl [ 8.010210] rtl8188ee: rtl8188ee: FW Power Save off (module option) [ 8.305929] rtl8188ee: Using firmware rtlwifi/rtl8188efw.bin [ 8.449500] ieee80211 phy0: Selected rate control algorithm 'rtl_rc' [ 8.450005] rtlwifi: rtlwifi: wireless switch is on [ 9.657821] rtl8188ee 0000:02:00.0 wlp2s0: renamed from wlan0 and for the rfkill list I get this 2: phy2: Wireless LAN Soft blocked: no Hard blocked: no I don't know what to think about it.
  4. So I did what you said and then reboot, I unconnected with wireless usb adapter but still not able to have wifi. I did all the command again just to give you the output information. It seems that I have an unassigned class from the lspci -vv output. After I did the unload/reload of the driver. Modprobe rtl8188ee did nothing. The rmmod rtlwifi give "rmmod: ERROR: Module rtlwifi is in use by: rtl_pci rtl8188ee". If I do sudo rmmod rtl8188ee "rmmod: ERROR: Module rtl8188ee is not currently loaded". So it seems that the mod install is rtl_pci, because if I do a rmmod rtl_pci without sudo I get "rmmod: ERROR: ../libkmod/libkmod-module.c:793 kmod_module_remove_module() could not remove 'rtl_pci': Operation not permitted rmmod: ERROR: could not remove module rtl_pci: Operation not permitted". Not sure if it clears up something. #########################output lspci -vv######################################## 02:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. 5. When I bought the computer was on windows 10 and it had no problem with wifi. I did a Darik's boot and nuke and fully booted Linux Mint and then I had wifi issues, but I bought a new SSD, so no Darik's boot and nuke involve, and I still have wifi issues.
  6. Unfortunately the 'make' has failed, don't know why? ##################### output ################################ make -C /lib/modules/4.15.0-24-generic/build M=/home/lenovoThinkpad/rtlwifi_new modules make[1]: *** /lib/modules/4.15.0-24-generic/build: No such file or directory. 7. I'm fairly new with linux and never was able to have wifi without a USB adapter on my Lenovo ThinkPad E545, the wireless network adapter is a RealTek rtl8188EE. I have Mint 19 Tara, I have looked other forum but it's not exactly the same situation. I try to see if in the Driver Manager there was a driver disabled, but there's none. I ran the lspci in terminal to see if my computer is able to read the rtl8188EE and it is (firts output). I'm not sure what to do, I guest that I needed the rtl8188EE driver but never found it.Help would be appreciated alot!Neurok################### First output #####################lspci00:00.0 Host bridge: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc.
