  1. Can you tell from the specs if there are any inherit compatibility issues with the setup? As in the receiver not being powerful enough to run the speaker setup?
  2. How do I check if it’s an issue with the power limit? it’s been sitting in a cabinet so it’s not crazy dusty, I will try to clean it and then try again.
  3. Hi guys, I’ve had the following setup for some years now but haven’t used it in probably 3 years: Speakers: Canton Movie 135 (100/120 Watt) Receiver: Denon AVRX520BTBKE2 5.2 AV-Receiver (4K Ultra HD, 5x HDMI, 3D-4K-HD Master, 5x 130 Watt, Bluetooth) Problem: When I turn the volume up all the way at one point the receiver just clicks and turns off. I have very little idea of Audio equipment but I was thinking that it might have something to do with the power ratings and output wattages at higher volume. Are these components compatible? Thanks in Advance
  4. Hey Guys, im probably once again in the completely wrong topic category or forum all together but i would like to explain my project anyways. We have a pellet heating system in our home and especially in the winter time we have been running into the problem that our reservoir runs out and we notice it too late. The reservoir is relatively big so it only occurs every few months but when it does, it usually takes 3-4 days until the delivery actually arrives considering it isn't Saturday or Sunday in which case we are left without warm water or heating for up to a week. Now i was thinking of implementing some kind of sensor into the room which i can program to either monitor or alert me as soon as our reserve of pellets get low. My idea was that i could solve this problem and in parallel learn a bit about programming (Maybe an Arduino?). The challenges are that once the reserve is fully stocked i predict there will actually be quite a build up of pressure in the reservoir room. Additionally when filled the room will be basically completely dark (Infrared Camera). I would greatly appreciate some advice / recommendations regarding if this even makes sense in this scope of application and if not so which ecosystem would make sense to pick up some programming etc. Thank you in Advance, Greetings from Bavaria, Budget (including currency): 500€ Country: Germany Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):
  5. Hi, to start off my specs, Asus PRIME x470-pro Ryzen 3800X 240mm Cooler Master AIO 4 x 4GB Crucial Ballistix @ 3200MhZ I did some research into why my CPU was boosting at idle, causing it to have insane idle temps of up to 65 degrees celsius and so I decided to turn PBO off. I ended up setting my CPU ratio to 43x on all cores and i set the voltage to 1.3V using the Ryzen Master software. Once i saw that these settings were stable on Ryzen Master I decided to apply these settings in the BIOS so that i don't have to start the Ryzen Master software at every Boot. So i went into the BIOS and changed the CPU Ratio to 43x and i changed the VDDR CPU to 1.3. After applying these settings and booting the system up my HW Monitor was still showing the CPU VDD at 1.088 V and the VID on 1.1 V but under the Motherboard Tab it Says CPU VCORE at 1.3 V. ( I also tried to set the VDDR SOC to 1.3V but it didn't change anything). To me it seems like the only way to increase the CPU VDD is to use the Ryzen Master software every time at boot up, because once i change the voltage using Ryzen master it actually changed the VDD on HW Monitor. Does this CPU VDD ever matter if the Motherboard is supplying 1.3 V according to HW Monitor? I hope this question makes sense. I am still a beginner at this whole thing. Kind regards
  6. i have an AIO Cooler Master 240mm cooler and BIOS is up to date. CPU is running stock.
  7. Hey Guys, so the other day i upgraded my Ryzen 5 2600x to a Ryzen 7 3800X. When i installed it I noticed it running quite hot even at Idle. I noticed that even at idle the cores would boost up for no reason to 44x and 45x at 1.4V making my fans ramp up and causing temperature to increase. Now i have seen that a few people have solved this problem using the Windows power options and others played around with the PBO for more long term solutions. Is there a easier way to solve this issue? any help is much appreciated thhank you.
  8. Thank you, any specific reasoning? Would the other ones be over kill?
  9. Hey guys, so i just upgraded from a vega 56 to a rtx 2080 ti and found that my CPU was bottlnecking my FPS counter on games like COD MW. Now im not quite sure what CPU to get. What is the most reasonable CPU with Price and future usability in mind. I am currently using a Ryzen 5 2600X, so it would have to be an AM4 socket CPU. Should i go for a AMD Ryzen 9 3900X or is a AMD Ryzen 7 3800X enough or are both not optimal? Any help is much appreciated.
  10. I just played some campaign and it isn't much better if not even worse...
  11. Thank you and sorry for the late response. What CPU would you say would reduce the bottleneck, Its an AM4 socket. Also notable that the CPU doesnt even reach 60 percent usage most of the time. Can the CPU bottleneck without reaching 100 percent Usage?
  12. I changed the resolution down to 66% percent of 1920 * 1080 (The minimum the game allows) and the FPS stayed the same but the GPU usage went even further down. to like 40 - 50%. When i put the resolution to 4K the GPU usage went to 95% and i ended up getting 70-80 FPS. Is my CPU bottlenecking my system?
  13. So now i added an SSD that i had laying around and moved the game files to it. This didn't solve the problem either.
  14. Hey Guys, so today I upgraded from my Radeon RX Vega 56 to a Nvidia RTX 2080 Ti but i don't seem to be getting much more FPS and the Usage of my GPU and CPU are hovering at around 50-70 Percent. My Rig: GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Driver Version 445.75 AMD Ryzen 5 2600X 16Gb of RAM I feel like with this setup i should be getting a stable 144 FPS on Max settings @ 1080p on Call of Duty: MW Warzone. Currently i'm at 90-120 FPS, pretty much the same as with my Vega 56. Although i have noticed that when i am in game, my HDD usage peaks to 100% there is no way this could be the bottleneck or? PS. I know that 120 FPS is still very playable but i feel like I could be getting more out of my GPU... Any help is much appreciated, thank you.
  15. Hey guys, i was wondering if it is possible to control the philips hue Bluetooth lights with the intergrated alexa in the sonos one player. When i go to the philips hue Bluetooth app and make the lights discoverable the alexa in the sonos can not find the lights… any help is greatly appreciated! PS: I dont know if this post is fittingher but i couldnt find a Smart home section

    Bose QC 35ii

Hey guys, so I bought the Bose qc25 cable with the inline mic with the hope to be able to use my Bose qc 35ii on my xbox one. That ended up not working so instead I bought the Corsair HS60 that came with that Aux to USB adaptor. I then bought myself a gaming pc and tried out using the Bose QC35ii with the In-line mic cable and the Aux to USB adaptor on my Pc and everything works perfectly fine. It all worked from the start on with no problems. Prior to this I was looking everywhere on the internet on how to connect the QC35 to my pc but couldn't find a solution. Basically the question is: how to connect a headset with inline mic to a PC and get both the sound and mic to work. Have I coincidentally found a solution to this or is this known.? I was hopelessly searching the web but without solution. What is the term for such an Adaptor?
  17. And the weird thing is that when the gpu is out completely the CPU and motherboard work perfectly fine.
  18. I already updated the bios, forgot to mention it. So if compatibility is not the problem, its safe to say that the gpu is broken conaidering all the trouble shooting we did? 1st PSU: beQuiet! StraightPower10 700W 2nd PSU: Cooler Masterwatt lite 600 watt
  19. ill check and post the info once im home. Im on the road atm
  20. When i boot from the motherbiard absolutely nothing happens. When i boot from the gpu output the monitor recognises a signal but just turns black.
  21. Hey guys, we're hopelessly stuck on trying to fix my buddies build. here are the hardware components: Motherboard: Asus RoG Strix z390-h Gaming CPU: Intel i7 8700k GPU: RoG Strix AMD Radeon Rx Vega 64 The issue: When trying to boot the system with the GPU we get stuck at a white LED on the motherboard indicating a problem with the GPU. When we take the GPU out the system boots normally with no problems. Now to try and troubleshoot this problem we have switched out the power supply. We tried switching the GPU out to an RX vega 56. And we tried the configuration out with an EVGA z370 ftw with no success what so ever. Both GPUs work in my build. (Ryzen 5 2600x, Asus prime x470) This has to lead me to believe that maybe it's just a compatibility issue with the CPU Motherboard and GPU in general. Although we did research compatibility to the best of our ability we are not really experts in custom pc building. Any help would be very appreciated.
  22. i found a good deal on a https://www.amazon.de/PowerColor-gbhbm2-OC-Grafikkarte-56-8192-MB/dp/B077ZGJGDM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1547228252&sr=8-1&keywords=red+devil+vega+56 for 300 bucks. What do you think of that GPU and also what kind of PSU does this card require? Is it two 8 pin connectors?
  23. Either way, they both require a cpu cooler right? which one would you recommend?
