  1. Fixed it! Thanks guys. I was just being dumb, it had been a bit loose yeah by the power supply - Thanks all!
  2. Alright I’ve connected my screen. Now it’s telling me this “Please power down and connect the PCIe power cable(S) for this GPU - Although it is all connected. Any suggestions? I also tried the extra wire instead of the original one (PCIe) and it isn’t working still.
  3. Hey guys, so I bought this screen https://www.komplett.dk/product/1006185/gaming/gamingskaerme/acer-nitro-24-led-freesync-rg240ybmiix# and these parts https://www.komplett.dk/product/986452/hardware/pc-komponenter/saml-selv-pakkeloesninger/saml-selv-pcer-amd/saml-selv-ryzen-value-gamer-2600# - I built the computer connected it to a power source, and connected it to the screen of course (using an HDMI cable) - The motherboard is lit and my fans and graphics turn on, but it just won’t connect to the screen. The screen searches for any possible connections and won’t find anything. - I also tried connecting my mouse that lights up when connected, using both the front USB slots as well as the ones directly connected to the motherboard, and it doesn’t connect either (can see that by the light not turning on). Do you guys see any obvious flaws with what I’ve done? Or any idea what I might have set up incorrectly? Would appreicate the help super much, kind of stuck with the computer now until I figure it out... Sorry for my lack of knowledge, thanks.
  4. Alright thanks a lot! This might sound a bit unorthodox; but would you perhaps be willing to call and go through it with me as I do it? Can use discord or something - Completely understand if not, of course. I am just a bit time-pressed, and would like to be sure it's done correctly
  5. TL;DR How do I get windows affordably - Step by step - I am clueless - Thank you! I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to computer stuff; not tech-savvy basically. However, I built my computer two years ago, and my friend helped me install windows using a cheap code or something; I can't remember how it worked - I have moved since and don't talk to him anymore. I did however convince my friend to build his own computer since it's cheaper than buying a complete desktop - Which I am helping him with today; but I am clueless as to how I am going to get windows on it... Preferably not too expensively either. Is anyone able to walk me through different ways I can go about doing it? and if it's very difficult? Meeting him later today, so it is rather urgent. Thank you very much in advance.
  6. Thanks a lot! Really appreciate it, how did you change it to SEK (Swedish Krona), I only ever get dollars when using PCpartpicker?
  7. This looks pretty good actually - Do you think it's good value?
  8. Jesus this site is amazing, so many great and helpful replies, almost instantly. I however, did not account for the price differences - So I most likely have wasted some of your time, since the great builds calculated in USD, seem to cost a lot more when purchased here... But I really do appreciate the effort and help!
  9. Hey Guys, I've been looking at the other posts, and they all basically list a ballpark idea of what parts they want. I am however fairly clueless when it comes to PC building, and I somehow managed to end up owing a very close friend a computer build (just the build list, not the actual parts). So I am really hoping that maybe some kind knowledgeable soul will be able as well as willing, to help me with a build; based off of budget and needs. 1. Budget & Location 1150-1300$ - Denmark/Sweden (So around 7000-8000DKK) 2. Aim The main aim/use of the computer, would be browsing the web, watching youtube and streaming HBO/Netflix, and gaming. Games would be fortnite/black ops/league, but it would be nice if it were possible to play games like the forest, ARCH as well, preferably in high resolution at a solid FPS. 3. Monitors Only one monitor is required, preferably between 22-27" 4. Peripherals Mouse and keyboard is needed, but they can be cheaped out on. Windows OS is not needed, and I will try to purchase an activation code online or something (feel free to add an anecdote as to how this is smoothly and securely done) 5. Why are you upgrading? Friend has a peasant laptop from 2002, there is no fix haha Would appreciate this insanely much! Thanks to anyone that helps!
