  1. I have a powerful PC at home but I wanted something that I could take around to play games and do work. When I say work, I mean using programs such as Premiere, after effects to edit HD video, and also a 3d modeling software called Maya. My plan is to start taking a laptop into college so I don't have to use the bloody irritating macs that they provide. I also want to run newish games medium-high at 50-60fps. (I don't ask much :p) See I was looking at the new Series 7 Ultra but I'm not sure whether it was up for the job.. It has an i7 and a 1GB 8570m and 10GB ram I think It does advertise that it is gaming capable but I am not so sure with that graphics card Thanking you :)
  2. Thanks Austin Powers. That article had some handy tips :) It didn't just sound different though it felt like I was typing on a completly new keyboard... I have managed to be convinced that for the whole time I have had the keyboard, I have been typing at a strange angle which makes all of the keys felt a lot stiffer Ahh well. Better to realise late than never :p
  3. Hello, First topic post on forum so far :) So I have had this logitec 710+(Brown Switches) for a while now. It's my first mechanical keyboard so it was a huge improvement over membrane for me. Although I have always thought that something didn't feel quite right like kinda stiff. It sort of felt like I have to push the key all the way down to type comfortably because of this stiffness(hehe) I thought it was me just being fussy at first, but today I was awkwardly multitasking and had to prop my keyboard up on a pad of paper. And then started typing and It genuinely feels soooooooo much better compared to when I have it laying normally on my desk. It is so strange... it sounds quieter and just feels right! And I am now just finding any excuse to type something because it feels so great to type Has anyone had a similar experience? Do you think that it is some kind of mechanical fault? I think now I am just going to have a permanant paper pad stuck under my keyboard now :p Cheers for reading :)
