So, I was inspired in the LTT video about the acrylic open-air case (for ~$15-20 on Taobao) and decided to go look for something a little more substantial when I came across this. My question is, would this be viable to use as an open air case for non-mining usage? It does look rather cumbersome, which made me think of another idea: could I turn this into some cool, RGB'd coffee table with a PC inside? Any thought's would be appreciated.

I'm just curious: I see aluminum open air frames designed for cryptomining on ebay going for about $20(This one). Would it be practical to use it as a test bench?
