    Sry for the multiple replies... But hence my issue. My monitors hdmi input is 1.4 (I purchased specifically for my desktop prior to getting the One X so I didnt anticipate needing an hdmi 2.0 input)

    The Xbox One X as of May 2018 is capable of running 120hz refresh rate at 1080 or 1440p. 120hz at 4k is not supported.

    As topic suggests Im trying to get 120hz refresh from my xbox one x on my Agon AG271QG monitor. Problem is the monitor only has an hdmi 1.4 port which only supports 60hz. Would an hdmi to DP cable (hdmi in xbox, DP in monitor) be a solution for achieving 120 hz? Not sure it matter but this is all at 2560×1440p. Any help or solution (aside from getting a different monitor as Im quite fond of this one) is much appreciated!
