  1. 3D Mark's port Royal for 30 minutes @ 4k, with a custom fan curve. 92c steady. I think I'm good. Just can't crank it too hard, and have to keep it undervolted
  2. Ya, I'll 3dmark it right now using portRoyal @ 4k, and see the temps then. I'll report back.
  3. Well...........I have my 3 year replacement warranty on this card from MicroCenter, and it's really far away. So I guess I'll use it til it breaks.
  4. 7900 xtx uses GDDR6 though. What are the safe memory tj max temps with GDDR6?
  5. I undervolted my graphics card, to keep the core tj max at around 70c under load, not an issue atm. However, the thermal junction on the memory is hitting about 98c under full synthetic load. I did some googling about tjmax, and all I can find is safe core tjmax. What's the safe tjmax on the 7900xtx reference? Mine's the sapphire reference btw.
  6. Hey, thanks guys! I upgraded from an old Intel 6600k, and I was like "wtf!?"
  7. Hitting 84c under full load. It's a 3950X, on a H115i PRO RGB, 1.25v I cleaned the mesh filters, and reapplied the compound with Arctic Silver MX-2. Still hitting 84c, under full system load, which is how I run my computer. This doesn't seem normal, is it?? It's kind of hot today, it's 80f.
  8. I apologize, I'm not a particularly smart man. I overclocked in Ryzen Master, and it seems better now. Should I disable PBO in the bios now?
  9. Just checked, for some strange reason, when enabling creators mode in Ryzen Master, I'm only running at 3ghz, under load:
  10. Want to enable "game mode" for a performance boost, when gaming. To be fair, I am oc'd, I'm just oc'd with pbo. I'm at 4.0ghz currently.
  11. That's not the case though, when I make a change in the bios, the system resets the voltage to where it was. When I apply "creators mode" in Ryzen master, it makes that voltage shift in ryzen master, the processing immediately drops from 97% utilization, down to 72% utilization. It's the exact same workload. Temps are totally fine, i'm at 62c. Anything I can do about this??
  12. "Performance Enhancer" is set to auto. Only pbo is enabled. Also, it's not processing as much, as before. Before, when I was folding, my cpu would reach 97%, now it only reaches 70%. What can I do to remedy this? I've tried changing Load Line calibration from auto the level 3, no difference. Help!
  13. So with my oc, I have the 3950x overclocked purely with PBO enabled. Not touching the voltage at all, in the bios. When I installed ryzen master, I was sure to leave the voltage alone in Ryzen master, and wanted the motherboard to regulate the voltage. However, even leaving the voltage control off in Ryzen Master. My Asus x570 Tuf gaming Plus now idles at 1.4v+. This dramatically decreases to 1.2v under load, but I'm still concerned about the idle voltage. Why is ryzen master messing with my voltage, when I tell it not too? Is this safe? From my understanding 1.4v can cause serious degradation to a 3950x. My bios is also updated to the latest btw. Am I missing something here? What the hell is going on?
  14. My Asrock B450m PRO4 is here. From what I understand addressable RGB is 5v, and can ruin your cooler, if your cooler isn't addressable. My motherboard has regular RGB, and an Addressable RGB header as well. Ok, that being said, is the wraith spire addressable, or is it normal RGB? I apologize, I'm new to anything RGB. My CPU arrives today. It's a Ryzen 1600 btw. Thanks!!
