Okay I have an insane problem which may or may not be solvable. A month ago I was given an HP TC1100 to restore. Unfortunately its hard drive was roached and I had to reformat it entirely to get it to be recognized by any device.
This, while fixing the hard drive thrust me into the most complex computer issue I have ever had to deal with.
After reformatting the drive I knew I needed to get a new OS on it. Reading the back the device said it was built for XP so I used an old XP boot disk and key I had lying around. While installing the drivers I realized a solid half of them failed to work so I did some research. Turns out the HP Compaq TC1100 ran an obscure type of XP called "Windows XP tablet PC Edition." I dug around for a copy of a boot image for it in order to create my own boot disk but ran out of luck leading me to buy a "Microsoft Volume License" boot disk for it on Ebay (as pictured below).
I thought it'd be as simple as booting from this disk but upon further investigation discovered that it appeared to have correct looking files on it but not in any format that resembled a Microsoft boot disk.
If you know how to make the files found on this disk into a bootable disk please help.
