  1. Hi it is me again. I've updated my bios and replaced the cmos battery to fix my previous problems. I was ready to install my cpu (i5 3330) and when I did I started the system and I found I was getting no display and my keyboard was not lighting up. I tried switching all usb ports for my keyboard, and for the display I tried all the display outs on the motherboard and GPU. When I used the cheap CPU (pentium G620) that I bought for $5 I had no problem getting it to boot except I was getting Intel Boot Agent errors when trying to boot to my SSD. I really don't know what to do any suggestions / anyone else that has had the same problem? BTW all the fans spin when I boot it so I know I'm getting power. Motherboard: Intel DQ67SW CPU: Intel i5 3330 RAM: 2x4 8gb DDR3 GPU: Nvidia GTX 550 TI
  2. So I finally have purchased a cheap second gen cpu for my motherboard so I can use my 3rd gen cpu in it. I need to update the bios and I need to know if I am supposed to go with the most recent update or to go with an older update because there are updates all the way up to around Jan 2018. It sounds like a stupid question, but this is my first time doing this so I wanna make sure I do it right. The motherboard is the Intel DQ67SW
  3. thanks bois will do probably tomorrow since the shops probably won't be open today. I have thought about buying a cheap 2nd gen but they are around the same price as the cpu I just bought
  4. So a couple of days ago I made a post on the forum saying I could not get my new (well new to me) motherboard ( Intel DQ67SW) and cpu to work ( ) Anyways I ended up saying that I thought the motherboard was not compatible with the cpu i was putting in it (an i5 3330). I later found out, today, that it was indeed compatible and it was listed as it that way too. For it to work I need to update the bios because it doesn't support 3rd gen i5s out of the box but intel has a bios update for it. The problem is this time that I cannot Update a bios if my pc will not even boot to the bios (obviously). Any suggestions? I am thinking about just seeing if a computer shop will do it,but I'm kinda iffy about it because it will probably end up being more money than I bought the board and Cpu for.
  5. I just found out that the board does not support my CPU so I am sending it back thanks for everyone's help this had been frustrating for me. On my amd boards I just had to figure out if it was am2+, am3+, etc. Didn't know their was incompatible CPUs for the boards like that
  6. Also I cannot connect the motherboard power to start it up because the power button on my case uses a 4 pin while the one on the board is a 2. I'm really frustrated rn someone plz help
  7. The specs are an i5 3330, an Intel DQ67SW motherboard, 8gb ddr3 and a Nvidia gtx 550ti 1gb I think I have figured out that the "beeping" is from the power supply. It makes no sense to me because this uses less power than my previous CPU
  8. So I just bought an Intel motherboard and a 1155 i5 3330. I just installed the new Mobo and CPU and I goto turn on the PSU switch and I get presented with a continuous beep. This isn't the only problem I've had today putting this all together since this was my first intel CPU when I went to install the fan I fucked up and the plastic pins broke on it. I will be getting another one soon. But I just wanted to see if the system would post. Plz help VID_20181229_142806.mp4
