  1. Yes because you are only using it to create a partition drive not your boot drive
  2. go into disk management and then format and create a new partition on the drive
  3. yeah i very much enjoy the stand, only thing i didn't account for is that my monitors in portrait touch the table, which would be fine, if my mouse pad wasn't so big that it bumps into them, so i have since rotated 1 monitor back to horizontal, very solid build quality on the mount, only thing i would have changed if i had been designing it myself would be since the top mount is optional and you can leave it off would be to have the top part of the mount also be removable or collapsible so that there isn't just a pole sticking up if you only decide to use 3 monitors, that and maybe holes by the arms so that you could run cabling through the inside of the mount and then route them out the holes and along the arms

  5. its a secondary system i already just got the 980 blower as an upgrade to it as that is all it is needed for it really already better then a 1060 so the next upgrade would cost too much, even more so when i need it to be a blower design, my main build would be this PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU Intel - Core i7-8700K 3.7 GHz 6-Core Processor Purchased For $405.98 CPU Cooler EVGA - CLC 280 113.5 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Purchased For $90.32 CPU Cooler Corsair - H150i PRO 47.3 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler Purchased For $159.99 Thermal Compound Arctic Silver - 5 High-Density Polysynthetic Silver 3.5 g Thermal Paste Purchased For $5.95 Motherboard MSI - Z370 TOMAHAWK ATX LGA1151 Motherboard Purchased For $150.98 Memory Team - Night Hawk RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory Purchased For $159.99 Storage Crucial - MX100 512 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Purchased For $214.99 Storage ADATA - XPG SX8200 960 GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive Purchased For $178.49 Storage Western Digital - Caviar Blue 1 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive Purchased For $51.99 Video Card Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti 11 GB Gaming OC 11G Video Card Purchased For $425.00 Case Cooler Master - H500P ATX Mid Tower Case Purchased For $149.99 Power Supply Thermaltake - Toughpower Grand RGB 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply Purchased For $89.99 Operating System Microsoft - Windows 10 Pro OEM 64-bit Purchased For $0.00 Case Fan Deepcool - RF 120 (3 in 1) 56.5 CFM 120 mm Fans Purchased For $44.99 Case Fan Deepcool - RF 140 (2-pack) 64.13 CFM 140 mm Fan Purchased For $36.99 Case Fan Deepcool - RF 140 (2-pack) 64.13 CFM 140 mm Fan Purchased For $36.99 Monitor Acer - K242HQL BBMD 23.6" 1920x1080 60 Hz Monitor Purchased For $111.99 Monitor Dell - S2716DG 27.0" 2560x1440 144 Hz Monitor Purchased For $404.00 Monitor Acer - KG251Q bmiix 24.5" 1920x1080 75 Hz Monitor Purchased For $150.25 Keyboard Razer - BlackWidow Chroma Wired Gaming Keyboard Purchased For $159.99 Mouse Logitech - G502 HERO Wired Optical Mouse Purchased For $54.99 Headphones Razer - KRAKEN 7.1 CHROMA 7.1 Channel Headset Purchased For $99.99 Speakers Razer - Leviathan 60 W 5.1 Channel Speakers Purchased For $129.99 Custom HTC VIVE - Virtual Reality System Purchased For $499.00 Custom SteelSeries XXL Gaming Mouse Pad (67500) Purchased For $15.00 Custom Phanteks PH-LEDKT_COMBO RGB LED Strip Combo Set Purchased For $16.99 Custom NZXT Internal USB Hub Purchased For $19.45 Custom Blue Microphones Yeti USB Microphone - Whiteout Edition Purchased For $89.00 Custom InnoGear Microphone Scissor Arm Stand Suspension Boom Studio Mic Stand Purchased For $14.99 Custom InnoGear Microphone Pop filter Mic Pop Shield with Clip Stabilizing Arm for Recording Vocals Home Studio Broadcasting Purchased For $6.99 Custom NZXT RL-KRG12-B1 Kraken G12 GPU Matte Black Purchased For $32.88 Custom USB Headphone Stand New Bee Sturdy 2-in-1 Wireless Charger + Headset Stand for Samsung S7/S7 Edge/S6/S6 Edge and other Mobile Phone with Standard Qi-enabled devices - Black Purchased For $14.99 Custom Cooler Master MCA-U000R-CLS000 Accessory- Universal Magnetic RGB Lighting LED Strip for Computer Cases 4 Pin RGB Connector Purchased For $16.00 Custom SIIG Legacy and Beyond Series PCIe to USB 3.0 7-Port PCI Express Card (External PCIe Host Card), Supports UASP Purchased For $39.88 Custom Pro Gaming Mouse Bungee Cable Holder 4 Port USB Hub with 7 LED Modes - Cable Management Support - Improved Accuracy & Weighted Design for Competitive eSports Games Purchased For $24.99 Custom Mesh Front Panel for MasterCase H500P Series - Gun Metal by Cooler Purchased For $19.99 Custom Generic VR Stand,VR Headset Display Holder for HTC Vive Headset or HTC Vive Pro Headset Purchased For $32.99 Custom VIVO Steel Quad LED/LCD Computer Monitor Heavy Duty Desk Mount 3 + 1 Fully Adjustable Stand | Holds Four (4) Screens up to 32” (STAND-V104A) Purchased For $89.99 Custom Delid Silicon Lottery Purchased For $74.94 Custom 55 Inch Sharp LC55UB30U 4K TV Purchased For $0.00 Custom 8Pin 6+2 PCI-E Cable Extension V1Tech Black and Purple Purchased For $9.99 Custom 24Pin Cable Extension V1Tech Black and Purple Purchased For $29.99 Custom 6Pin PCI-E Cable Extension V1Tech Black and Purple Purchased For $8.99 Custom Thermaltake TT Gaming PCI-E x16 3.0 Black Extender Riser Cable 200mm AC-053-CN1OTN-C1 Purchased For $22.99 Custom MSI GT 710 Purchased For $25.99 Custom ASUS VP247QG 1ms 1080p 75hz Purchased For $90.99 Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $4510.84 Generated by PCPartPicker 2019-06-21 09:11 EDT-0400
  6. it is I currently have the following system in a node 202 Here , The word here is a link with custom text
  7. Most motherboards can detect GPU temp, thats why if you download something like HWinfo it will tell you the temperature your gpu is at, even some games Black Ops 4 for instance has a setting to display GPU temp on screen in game, it is actually a software issue, as the software needs to be able to grab those temperatures and allow you to set a fan curve to make Fans plugged into the motherboard that normally can only be controlled by CPU temp or user set constant RPM speed and instead have them make that curve off GPU temp, now a normal Overclocking program like MSI Afterburner can see those temps and change the speed of the fans that are actually on the GPU, but in this case i need to control fans that are connected to a motherboard not the GPU directly, There are 2 programs i know are able to set these curves, CAM from NZXT which requires the use of my NZXT GRID, or Speedfan which takes some time to set up as its not a straightforward proccess, i was trying to find out if any of the motherboard manufacturers have a program for it made for use on their motherboards so i could remove the grid, i posted this in the Motherboard forum as well and was told by a user of the gigabyte board that they know Smart Fan 5 does not but they are unsure of the ASRock board but doubt it, so Im going to say right here that my problem has been solved.
  8. click the link in the post it leads to the build as it is currently im only upgrading to ryzen and ddr4
  9. its more expensive then my tight budget to get the strix and this is my second PC anyway no need to go overkill on the motherboard just dont want to cheap out on it either
  10. im leaning towared the gigabyte board as i do also love the aorus brand as well, rgb is pointless in a node 202 build unfortunately
  11. Well that info is very helpful in that decision making part, ill just stick to using cam i guess since it does just fine controlling the fans with the Grid V2, was hoping to free up the little space
  12. I currently have the following system in a node 202 Here , im upgrading it to ryzen and im tight on cash with the added bills i have since my mom passed in February, i have a choice between the two boards listed in the poll as they are what are at my local microcenter and im going to use the bundle deal with a 1600, i sold about 300$ worth of parts to do this upgrade without interfering with my bills. One of my issues is i control 2 fans in the GPU bay based of tempeture of the GPU using a NZXT Grid V2 with CAM software and then also control my CPU fan as well as a few more smaller 40mm fans in the cpu champer. I wanted to know if the software for either of the two boards that are my current options will be able to do this so that i could remove the Grid V2 from the case (every cm counts in a Node 202 build!) The ASRock Software i believe is called Fatal1ty F- Stream and the Gigabyte software is Smart Fan 5. Im not looking for speculation on whether the software looks like it can but rather if anyone has used it or has seen it used for controlling fan RPM based on GPU temp, I know Speed fan can do this but i want to know if either of the softwares for the motherboards do it, otherwise i will just have to stick to using CAM Other then that please share any opinion or experience you have with either board the gigabyte one costs 10$ more then the ASRock so they are about there in price but if for my use case of this being my bedside computer and travel gaming computer (think lans, friends house, vacation) So it will run a range of games of all types online and offline old and new, The wifi being good on the board is also important as i currently have a AC1900 wifi adapter and have 500Gbs on 5GHz so i need it to be able to handle that so i can sell off the adapter. I also might do some overclocking on this.
  13. yeah thats what i was seeing, im currently at work so i cant sit down and watch a video of someone going through all the features of the software to find if its in there somewhere, For what i need it for the CAM software works quite well and is actually perfect but if i can remove that hub then it frees up some space the inside of my build has cables everywhere also for reference im going to add my build to the post
  14. i know speedfan works but i want to find out if either of the softwares designed for the boards have this functionality as well
  15. I have a Node 202 Build in which i control 2 fans in the GPU bay based of tempeture of the GPU using a NZXT Grid V2 with CAM software and then also control my CPU fan as well as a few more smaller 40mm fans in the cpu champer. I am going to be upgrading my build to ryzen and wanted to know if the software for either of the two boards that are my current options will be able to do this so that i could remove the Grid V2 from the case (every cm counts in a Node 202 build!) The ASRock Software i beleive is called Fatal1ty F- Stream and the Gigabyte software is Smart Fan 5. Im having a hard time finding info online for this. My build this question is for
