  1. The side fans were placed there to help with intake of cool air into the case. I don’t believe it’s possible to mount them in front of the case since there is a cover with LED lights on it. I’ll try and see if I can put a fan under the GPU, the only issue I foresee is that there’s a big metal casing covering the PSU that extends across almost all the bottom of the case.
  2. Thank you for the comments, everyone. They are invaluable.
  3. Hello, My RTX 2070 has been running on load at around 74-75c max. I've been told this is safe and fine but the ambient temperatures during the winter are low. I'm concerned about the hot summers that will be coming in the future months and am wondering if I can get those temperatures down lower and prevent any potential issues in the future. The case I'm using is an iBUYPOWER Trace Masters, it has a front cover so the air has to enter the case from the side vents and holes on the right side of the case. I installed two intake fans on the side case and regardless of what speed they are running at, they have no effect on the GPU temperature. My question is: Is there a better fan configuration or is there an entirely different solution I could try? The GPU is a blower fan as well, not sure if that is relevant or not though. I have attached some photos of my case and the fan configuration and can provide more if requested. Thank you for your time.
  4. Thank you so much for the information. Regarding dust, I'm not sure if this is sufficient but the top of the case has a removable magnetic dust filter. Is that sufficient? One more question, in the attached photo of the motherboard I circled an area in red, is that the correct spot where I would plug in the fan splitter/case fan? It's called Chassis Fan Connector (CHA_FAN2) in the manual.
  5. I am currently using this PC: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07G77QHV8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o06__o00_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and was hoping to add an extra fan or two if possible to help with cooling, So far I have not been able to identify what the name and model of the case is but I read on another website regarding a similar PC that the grill on top of the case can hold two fans. I have identified the motherboard to check its specs as a Z370 Pro4-IB but could not find any specs on it to check where to connect the fans. I was able to find the "non-IB" version here: http://asrock.pc.cdn.bitgravity.com/Manual/Z370 Pro4.pdf My question is, could anyone please recommend compatible fans that I can mount on the top of the case? Furthermore, any help with identifying the case and motherboard specs/manual would be very beneficial to helping me upgrade my PC in the future.

    Sharp noise from Mic

Thank you for your reply. Would something like this work? https://www.amazon.com/Sabrent-External-Adapter-Windows-AU-MMSA/dp/B00IRVQ0F8/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1548354994&sr=8-4&keywords=external+USB+sound+card Or could you recommend one?
  7. I am using a Mic (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01NAQWCGS/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) connected to my ATH M50x's and notice a sharp noise when I record my voice. I've messed around with settings and nothing helps. Is this normal, do I need to adjust other settings or do I need some extra hardware to fix the problem?

    ATH M50x Mic

I purchased a V-Moda BoomPro mic but failed to realize that it does not fit into the ATH M50x jack. Does anyone know of any similar mics that are compatible with it?
  13. Thank you for this information. I appreciate it.
  14. These are the readings while playing Destiny 2 at max settings, 1440p on a 144hz monitor with fps uncapped.
  15. Sorry for the scare. This is while idle. Not overclocked. It's using the stock cooler that came with the computer. I'm not sure how to determine what cooler.
  16. I purchased an iBuypower PC and noticed that right out of the box the CPU temperatures seemed odd. I don't have a lot of knowledge and my research came across conflicting information. I've attached a screenshot of Core Temp's readings. These were taking just browsing the internet and watching streaming video. Are these temperatures normal?
  17. Thank you so much for your reply and the info, it is greatly appreciated.
  18. Hello, I'm new here so I hope this is the right place to ask my question and have read through the Community Standards. I'm planning on buying a pre-built PC within the next week or so that has a RTX 2070 but I just watched Linus's video on the new RTX 2060's possibly coming out soon. My question is: should I wait to order the PC linked above until after the new cards are released for the sake of possibly getting a better deal on said PC or does it not really matter? I choose this new PC because I want to play Anthem and future titles on the highest settings possible on a 1440p monitor above 60hz and wanted to keep my budget around $1500. Not sure if this relevant but here are the PC specs: CPU: i7 - 8700K GPU: NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2070 8GB RAM: 16GB Motherboard: Z370 Thank you for your time.
