  1. Sorry I forgot but do you know why having such high power draw is considered bad? For example I've read the Nitro+ SE alone needed 270-300W of power.
  2. When could I expect those to be released?
  3. One of my biggest fear for buying a used GPU is the fans dying on me whether fan itself or bearing. Are GPU fans easily replaceable? The biggest reason why Sapphire Nitro+ attracted me was because they sold extra fans and were 1 screw easily replaceable.
  4. Alright, thanks then I guess my issue is either a new high end 5700 XT or used high end 2070 Super
  5. I'm not in the states, I'm quite far away so shipping it from states isn't really an option too. Here a brand new lowest end 2070 Super goes for minimum $100 USD more than the 2 5700XT I have listed
  6. I'm looking to purchase a new GPU for my gaming rig. I've heard there are quite ALOT of problems with 5700XT drivers. Are they fine now or should I get something like RTX 2070 Super (although my issue listed below is budget). I'm honestly not too much fussed about ray tracing as I'm not too fussed about even better graphics than what recent games give. But I am wanting good powerful performance. I do have a budget. Currently, the best my budget can afford is a brand new PowerColor Red Devil RX 5700 XT or a Sapphire Nitro+ 5700 XT SE (Both the exact same price). I do have the option to go second hand half a year to year old RTX 2070 Super (there are quite a few in FB marketplace price all around the Red Devil 5700 XT) but I've never bought second hand before and I have the stereotype that second hand GPU's can be shady but again I don't know much about used GPUs Also, for the Nitro+ 5700 XT SE, I've heard that it pulls RTX 2080TI level of power, like 20-30% more than reference 5700XT, is that fine? I know OC makes it draw more power, but 2080TI level of power draw seems a bit out there. I do have a EVGA 750W G3 PSU though.
  7. Hello, I have a fairly new monitor, about 6 months old, its the ASUS XG32VQR. Recently, I have been having this issue where after I shut down my computer and if I turn it back on again after a while, at the bottom of my screen there would be weird lines, as if it was there was a horizontal tear, leaving gaps on black and grey line. I tried taking a screenshot with gyazo but it doesn't seem to catch the tear/lines and just looks normal. After about 5 minutes, the lines seem to slowly slide back into place. I also found out I could fix this issue quickly by opening my Nvidia control panel and change my screen ratio from its standard aspect ratio to full screen back to aspect ratio. Another thing to note is that I have a second monitor by Eizo, its resolution is 1920x1200 (weird but it is) where as my Asus one is 2560x1440p. However, my Eizo monitor does not have these lines at the bottom during start up leading me to believe it has something to do with the Asus monitor. I don't really want to take it back to the store for an RMA as I already have thrown away the original box as it was too big to keep and since it seems fixable as I can quickly fix it by changing screen ratio, just don't want to do it every time I start up my computer. I have installed the latest nvidia drivers for my RTX 2070S GPU as well. Could anyone help me on how to fix this issue? By bottom of my screen, I mean like just until above the taskbar.
  8. Could I ask, what CPU you are using and what its temps are under decent load?
  9. I mean, the fans do ramp up, but its not something overly deafening? Provided that I have 6 fans, the noise isn't something that seems out of ordinary to me Yes it is the h100i platinum se. Did you also have the same problem as me? Screws being too long?
  10. I screwed it in with washers. It was still too long. A few mm of screw did dig into the mesh. I've also tried checking it for leakage, but couldn't find any wet spots or liquid. I'm pretty sure that if my AIO didn't have any liquid in it, the temps wouldn't only be at 73C under Cinebench load.
  11. So, behind those plates that have holes, is the grill, but the screws that Corsair included in the AIO was either too long because they were lazy or was designed to go through those holes and dig into the zig zag mesh part of the radiator. I did google online a bit before doing this just in case but it seems other people have had this issue.
  12. Hello, I've recently built a new PC with a Ryzen 3600 CPU. I also decided to use a 240mm AIO just for aesthetics reasons. I had trouble fitting both my fans on the radiator as it seems the radiator grill did not have through holes for screws and I was just expected to screw the holes by wedging it in between the gaps of the grill (apparently thats how it works with corsair aio???). I did not hit any of the vertical pipes with the screws. Also had trouble fitting the pump on the cpu because of its really weird metal wire latch/lock mechanism instead of just screwing it in. My concern is that because of the trouble of installing the AIO, my temps might be above normal. I know as long CPU temps don't hit above certain point, its considered safe, but I would still like to get normal performance and temps instead of higher than normal/expected. My Ryzen 3600 stock, with whatever boosting mechanism is turned on at stock. Corsair 240mm AIO running at balanced pump setting and quiet fan setting. At idle: 40-50 degrees Celsius (this fluctuates a lot and seems really high for idle) Cinebench R20 (1 run) - 70-73 degrees Celsius (as soon as i started Cinebench run it jumped to 70C and never went below it but fluctuated only between 70-73C) Also scored 3405 with all cores at 4100mhz Monster Hunter World Iceborne: 60-73C during 1 hour session. (Got same temps with Apex Legends) Edit: forgot to mention my ambient room temp is around 27C
  13. In my country, at retail stores the 2070 is cheaper than 2060 Super and goes on huge sales because 2070 have been discontinued and getting reshelfed with the new 2070 Super. So you could try aim for that. What does more Cuda achieve btw? Also for me the 5700XT is only $50 to $60 cheaper than a 2070 Super. Even then would a 5700XT be a better buy?
  14. Oh wow. I would have thought atleast HDR would also work with a Nvidia card as technically the monitor is HDR certified. Guess I will have to go with an AMD card then. Also would you happen to know if HDR reduces fps performance in games?
