Thanks for the help guys and witch should i get the Amd r9 290 or the nvidia gtx 780?

I was wondering would it be better for me to get the amd fx 8350 or the i5 4670k because the 8350 has 8 cores and the i5 4670k has 4 cores would the 8350 be better for gaming and editing because like games now days are starting to recommend more cores like bf4 and benefit off of more cores. could anyone help me decide what to get?
