Is a hair dryer safe to use on it or do I need an air pressure can?

    1-3-2 beep code

Apparently for my OptiPlex 390 motherboard, the 1-3-2 beep code means that there is a problem with the ram, but I've tried my ram in another pc and the pc worked, I've tried multiple combinations of the ram even using 1 stick in alternating in each slot. I've reseated the cpu tiwce. Standoffs are also on. Btw when I turn on the pc its a black screen. Here are the list of cables currently plugged into the motherboard: front panel connectors (they're all wrong but it doesn't matter), hd audio, usb, 24 pin, 4 pin cpu, cpu fan, and system fan. I've tried my psu in my other system and it worked perfectly fine. I've tried with and without the graphics card. I've tried clearing and resetting the cmos. I've taken the cmos battery out and put it back in. It seems like every time I fix a problem in my pc, a new one occurs. It's getting really agitating. The thing is, after I cut part of the gpu case off to fit it in the pc, it was working perfectly fine when I turned it on with the gpu, then the next day, I get this beep code. Can anyone help me? Thank you to those who read this.

    Beep code of 1-3-2

I just got a beep code of 1-3-2 for an optiplex 390 motherboard. The site told me it was a problem with ram but messing with the ram didn't help. Anybody know what to do?

    1-3-2 beep code

I looked up this 1-3-2 beep code pattern for my Optiplex 390 mobo and it said that the code was for a problem with the ram, but I tried doing different combinations of ram sticks and different slots but none it worked. I even tried taking out the graphics card, but the beeps were still there. Anybody know if it's a different problem?

I just realized the cpu cable wasn't plugged in cause I forgot to plug it back in from the last troubleshooting I did. The problem stopped occurring.

Pc turns on for 1 second

Sorry for the wait guys. Before this post, my gpu didn't fit because the 20 pin connector thing was in the way, so I cut part of the case off which allowed the gpu to fit. I then tested it to see if my pc would work, and it turned on,even though the graphics card wasn't all the way in the pcie slot, which was weird. I then pushed the gpu back into the slot, which required a bit of force because the 20 pin connector was still in they way, but I still got the gpu in. I turned on my pc and now I ended up with this problem. I can't imagine it being the 20 pin connector causing the problem because how would the pc even turn on in the first place with all the fans and led's?

Pc turns on for 1 second

I just built my pc and whenever I turn it on, all the led's, fans, and the computer itself turns on for 1 second then turns back off. Anybody know why?
