what kinda games and application to you play and use? (this effects what parts are more important for example if it statagey games the cpu is more important) and do you want to spend 4000 or that just how much you think it should cost as there are several areas you could likely save money without sacrificing much at all also what monitor do you have?

thank you and to answer a few questions from that in dont play the games of the nas generaly it is more because i have slow wifi so i store all the games i aint playing right now on there so i dont have to re download them and intrestingly for your xfs point they ran fine when i was connecting via windows

the nas runs unraid which i think is XFS and yes the steam libary is on the nas

i did ls -lah this is a long listing that show hiden files and has sizes in human readable

as you can see from the Ls of the folder there is only one steam folder

might i recommend two extensions and one other if you don't already have it. youtube unhook its great and allows you to remove the home page and many other things from youtube a second one is Youtube-shorts block is also great and helps to remove shorts from existence on youtube and finally Return YouTube Dislike it tries to add back youtube dislikes

i have this command in my fstab to mount my nas "//192.168.1.202/nas /mnt/nas cifs username=josh,password=<insert password here>,uid=josh,gid=josh 0 0" the network drive is mounting but i am having issues with steam on it as steam complains there are two steam folders in the same steam folder one with caps and one without i get the feeling this is some kinda issue to do with miss configuring whether the file system is caps sensitive or not but i cant workout how to solve it. any help would be very much appreciated

for moving to university i am looking at merging my server and my pc and was wondering what experinces people had had of daily driving in a vm. I run fedora linux on my pc and unraid on my server i would be looking to pass through a 3060ti to to create a vm to run my linux install on. i had heard this was a bad idea on windows but had heard nothing about Linux so was looking to see if anyone had any opinions on the concept with that concept is there any issues with mixing 2x8gb sticks with 2x16gb sticks any opinions would be very much appreciated.

So i noticed that the ram and the power brick had the UK CA logo on them (this is a agency the uk has setup due to brexit) is this something people out side the uk tend to see on there electronics or was ltts press sample simply originaly from the uk?
