  1. I'm considering upgrading from a 1060 to a 2080. However I'm unclear as to which 2080 I should get. I have this great looking white Overclock-able 2080 from gigabyte that I've been looking at for a while. Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Gaming OC White 8G Graphics Card, 3X Windforce Fans, 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6, GV-N2080GAMINGOC WHITE-8GC Video Card. However the emergence of the 2080 super is making me wonder is a super card would be better. Unfortunately non of them appear to come in white, and I really want a white one for my next build. It appears as though the new super cards cost more or about the same as the OC card I want. So I'm a little conflicted as to which would be the better buy.
  2. I've since chatted with samsung support and they don't have any ideas.
  3. My mother has a samsung galaxy S6. For whatever reason one of her custom ringtone isn't working. This specific contact has two numbers; and is saved as one contact on her phone. The custom ring tone is supposed to sound for both numbers. Recently when the home number calls the default ringtone is what sounds, however when the cellphone number calls the custom ring tones sounds. I've tried changing the ringtone, deleting and re-adding the contact, changing the default ringtone, and separating the contact into two different numbers. Nothing seems to work. Any ideas? I would like to avoid getting a new phone or preforming a factory reset. The OS is up to date as of June 19 2018.
  4. Is the price difference worth it? I know that is a very subjective question; but I'm curious if the increase in power is really worth the huge price difference.
  5. I'm mildly confused about the difference between a 2080 and a 2080 Ti. Why does the Ti have 11GB where as the normal has 8GB. Further more why are they so much more expensive than the "basic" video card? I also have the same question in regards to the 1080 and 1080 Ti?
  6. Because I don't know how to copy/paste a permalink.
  7. I was messing around on PC Part Picker one day and I came up with my dream PC. Not sure if I'll ever build it or not... If you guys have an suggestions I will take them into consideration. Some of the Peripherals are place holders because PC Part Picker didn't have the item listed. Parts list is in an attached document. PC Parts.docx <Link Removed> PC Parts.docx
  8. Read the attached document for a parts list.
  9. I built this computer to replace my laptop. I seem to have bad luck with laptops, probably because I play too many games... I spent about as much as I did on my last laptop. I've had the machine for about 4 months and everything runs just fine. My hope is that this build will last me 5 years or longer before I start needing to replace things. I'm very pleased. The power supply that comes with the case is not powerful enough for me so the only down side is that I have a spare power supply sitting around. Let me know what you guys think. PC Parts.docx
